I thought Ontario’s govt was bad, call about a speeding ticket that I was told was “closed” because of Covid and now they sent me a final reminder giving me 2 days to pay 200 dollar fine. I tried calling to figure out the confusion all they did was sent me from one person to the next. Until I got a lady that apparently didn’t like me speaking English because I was being “disrespectful to the Quebec government” by speaking English to her.

I cannot believe that in the year 2022 a city service in Québec does not offer an option for services in English when Ontario has offered French for decades.

Not helpful, I understand the language laws in quebec are intense, but there is no effort to help anglophones, even when you attempt to speak french to the best of your capabilities, and when you select service in english, you just get directed to someone who refuses to speak english lol. Trying to explain simple problems to them is like trying to explain rocket science. Very frustrating, poor service.
