Burattino Brick Oven Pizza

Earlier today I passed by this place by car and I just thought the outside of the store is so beautiful. The decor of the outside of the store is perfect for spring/summer. This is an Italian pizza place and bakery. As I already mentioned the store is so beautiful outside with all the beautiful flowers decorated and they have all the wonderful pastries on display in the window at the front of the store. When you walk in the venue is beautiful and rustic with wooden chairs and tables. The man on cash was friendly and showed us the menu that’s located at the front of the restaurant and then gave us one in our hands. We chose this Italian pizza with garlic sauce and mushrooms and some white cheese. The pizza took 15 minutes and it’s amazing and fresh since it’s made in the oven. He also showed us the pastries at the front and I got this flaky Pastery with pear in the centre and it’s so good. My friend got the brownie and it’s so good. This store is located in a cute neighbourhood with a park just down from this store and the cashier recommended we eat our pizza there. We sat at the benches close to the gazebo which is beautiful and good for events or community events and social gatherings. I highly recommend this place it’s so beautiful and the staff is so professional and friendly and the food is so good . It was worth my time and money. If you love Italian pizzas and you love good service and a beautiful aesthetic place this is the place for you.

I originally found this place somewhere online in California I think as the pizza looked so good and once I saw a location pop up in Toronto I was pleasantly surprised so we finally went by to give them a try and I must say the pizza is on point. Everything from the dough to the sauce to the toppings to the way it was cooked was done just right so I really have no complaints. We ordered an XL pizza with split toppings Double Pepperoni and Mushrooms on one side and Double Italian Sausage and Onion on the other and both selections were amazing. Their Italian sausage was really nice and I liked their Pepperoni too so we hit a nice combo and got a taste of both worlds. Their Garlic dipping sauce had a nice kick so if you like garlic I suggest you give it a try. Hopefully I will be back again eventually as I’d like to try the Black Garlic option one day and see what that’s all about. Keep doing a great job there as I wished I lived a lot closer than I currently do as I’d probably be a regular customer

Been following on insta for a while and finally got a chance to try it out. Good tasting pizza with unique flavour from the black garlic sauce. Garlic dipping sauce was excellent. Wasn't as crispy as expected.

Update: Back again after 4 days. Was craving the pulled pork Hawaiian. Ordered it again. It was greasy and even more floppy than before! : --------- Original Review: Ordered via Ritual - smooth pick up and friendly service. 12" pulled pork Hawaiian and 12" white clam pizza. Both were unique and tasty. The Hawaiian was loaded with toppings - a bit of a floppy slice probably because there's so much toppings. The clam pizza was sturdy, no flop. Will be back.

So we saw an add on Instagram and decided why not drive the hour and go try! So we did and it was Delicious! The Hawaiian pizza we got was phenomenal, the dough was absolutely perfect and the sauce they use was simple but delicious! Now for the classic margerhitta pizza the flavours were all there but I found the crust a little tough but overall Delicious as well. And the cheese bread was a huge hit in this trip with the kids. We will definitely come back to try different things from the menu.

This is hands down the best pizza that I have ever had! Been seeing clips of this restaurant on social media for weeks, lowkey always thought this place was in the USA because a 120 pepperoni Stone oven pizza just sounds like something that would be in the states. But I finally looked on google, saw it was down the street from me, and said bet. However, on to the pizza. The crust is thin and crispy. There I'd the right amount of cheese on it. The sauce is delicious and fresh. You can taste the subtle sweetness of the tomato and its seasonings. But the star of this pizza of course, is the pepperoni. Those slightly salty, and mildly spicy pepperoni are perfect. It's not a hot pizza spice wise, but eat a slice and you will feel the subtle beginnings of heat on your tongue. The most surprising thing about this pizza is that it's not greasy or heavy. Everything about it goes together perfectly. It's nothing like I have ever had before to date in terms of a perfectly balanced pepperoni pizza, but their is a first time for everything. Honestly, 10/10 pizza, I will have to come back and try it with the black garlic next time.

I placed an online pick up order but unfortunately ran into some issues with my vehicle on the way there. It was super close to closing time but I was still waiting on road side assistance; I called the restaurant to ask if they could just leave my order outside so that I wouldn’t hold them back from closing up. I knew I’d be taking the risk of having my pizza taken but I thought I had no other choice. The lovely staff member at Burattino was not only very understanding and empathetic of my situation, but she even offered to give me a store credit to have my pizza fresh another time. I was sadly too flustered to ask the rep for her name, but I just want to say a huge thank you! Please know you brought some light into my dark day!! Update: went back and got my pizza - it was delicious!! Their caramel cookie was a great addition as well.

One of my favorite pizza places now. Tried their half black garlic pepperoni half Bianca funghi and damn it was good! The place is also nicely decorated, very clean and has very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly too. Will be definitely coming back.

Good pie....but to be honest way over priced....got 2 pizzas and 8 wings and was initially almost 90$. Thought "okay because its super special lets still go for it" but just 1 smaller....still was 70$ and to be honest....it was mediocre. The veggie was the best one. Their instagram looks way way better than it actually is. I was quite sad because of how much I hyped this. The place inside was awesome and clean, nice staff - the brownie was almost better than the pizza.
