Amazing freshly-cut raw minced beef for the carnivores out there. Good music and the owner Fasil is very kind and accommodating too
Delicious food! I ordered the Meat & Vege Beyaynetu with chicken. Really nice depth of flavours and the portion size is really perfect for 2 lunches as I am full after eating half. Definitely recommend and also great to support a small mom and pop shop. Will definitely be back!
Very homey. The flavors are delicious and it feels like I was invited into someone's culture rather than a restaurant. The owner is a wonderful man. My plate had both meats and vegetables. I feel the vegetables had more depth of flavor than the meats. The cabbage and split peas were definitely a favorite. I would recommend this place.
First time trying Ethiopian food and I was delighted by the chicken/veggie combo with injera. The total price is around $19. The veggie sides remind me of Indian food and the chicken tastes like Chinese food. The injera is porous and soft, perfect to dip in the sauce. The owner is nice and friendly too. Will return to try the lamb only during daytime though since it is located in a sketchy neighborhood.
Found this place via all the helpful reviews here already, and I was not dissapointed. It was a bit of a hike from our hotel and off for less touristy as we went, but not too bad of an area. I wasn't sure what to expect. When we walked in though just the smell of the place alone let you know it was gonna be GOOD. The people leaving as we came in said "man that was so good", so we felt set. We had the veg and meat combo and it was delicious. Barely wanted to share. The owner kept the injera coming- love that they have a gluten free option. All in all, excellent food at a great price. It's a cozy spot, welcoming and friendly. Would totally go back!
Deliciously flavourful Ethiopian food with generous portions at a reasonable price. Owner was also very kind and provided us with some traditional tea on the house. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate. I will absolutely return :
My first time trying Ethiopian food, and it was good. They were very friendly, explaining the food and how to eat knowing it is our first time. The meat & veggie plate with injera is definitely very filling and tasted great. The one interesting thing was that we were told it was takeout only at that point. We went around 6:30pm so maybe Google Maps was wrong and they were closing soon instead of at 8pm like they were listed?
Wow this place is absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I discovered this one morning and decided to try breakfast here. The owner recommended two dishes for us to try and even made us fresh coffee with beans he roasted right in front of us! The food was tasty and full of flavour. We are so happy we discovered this place - we will definitely be back. The experience was 5 stars!
Highly recommend! Enat Buna has the most exceptional service I've experienced in a while. Wonderful Ethiopian food at a reasonable price about $14 for the veggie platter. Definitely stop by, you'll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.
This was the first time I had ever tried Ethiopian cuisine, and I must say the food was amazing, and the coffee is the best I have ever had! Thank you for such a wonderful experience-look for the green storefront next time you’re in the neighbourhood :
