Tried Bueokae for dinner after a friend kept insisting they have the best gamjatang — and honestly, he wasn’t wrong The gamjatang was super tasty, rich, and comforting. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving that classic pork bone soup.nnI ordered the cold noodles which still hit the spot, but I’ve had better lol — still refreshing and satisfying though! The seafood pancake was more doughy lool They served 4 side dishes and all of them were good, no complaints there.nnJust a heads up — make reservations! The place was super busy when we went. Overall, decent food and a great vibe for dinner with friends. Would come back, especially for the gamjatang.
I visited this place after reading the reviews, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations.nnThe dakgangjeong was perfectly crispy, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The bibimbap came in a generous portion, and every vegetable was fresh and well-balanced—it was delicious.nnThe naengmyeon had a great chewy texture, and the broth was refreshingly cold and tasty. I highly recommend it as a summer dish.nnThe galbi was especially impressive—the meat pieces were large, and the deep charcoal flavor was amazing. The combination of galbi and naengmyeon worked perfectly together.
Had a good soup lunch here on a cold day. The pork bone soup was good but you got to be ok to dig through the bones for the meat. The beef bulgogi soup was good too if you don’t mind some sweetness to the soup. The portion is generous.
This is a nice little cozy spot for comfort food especially on cold winter nights! We walked in on a busy Saturday evening, the staff said it could be half an hour wait but fortunately for us they ended up calling us back within 15 minutes so the wait wasn't very long. They served us the banchan immediately after placing our order. It was so good, couldn't help ourselves we almost inhaled them in one sitting. We ordered the beef bibimbap dolsot and the soon tofu jjigae. These were so tasty! So warm and comforting, and completely satisfied our cravings.
Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here! Food was delicious and great portions. Amazing and comforting flavours, will be back next time in Richmond Hill
