This stationery store in Kerrisdale is a must for anyone looking for fine writing instruments, their selection of brands and types is quite impressive including fountain and ball point, felt tip, markers, and a long etc. Also available, writing paper, cards for every occasion. This store offers many different options if you are searching for a gift for someone special. Their prices are accessible and the customer service is attentive and friendly. You'll be mesmerized by the merchandise on display!
I thought I already left a review, so this is long over due. By far my favourite ink dealers in town. It's a place that tests the limits of my self-discipline. One of the most extensive collection of inks and best price in townI know, I go all over. Staff member who helped me was so sweet! Swatch book didn't have the new ink I wanted to see so she swatched 3 inks for me. And they also have the best swatchbook in town! Like a bible or art!
Great service and knowledgeable staff. They were busy when I visited and yet still very accommodating and patient to my questions and purchases. They have an amazing selection of fountain pen ink brands and colours and ink bottle sizes and pens. I bought their Janelle Tyler glass dip pen and it wrote so beautifully and smoothly. Amazing quality producta. Looking at their notebook and pen/ink selection, they really take pride in stationery and this niche fountain pen hobby. I will definitely be back!
Placed an order online recently and delivered without issue. Appreciate the care they took when shipping my order. I noticed they took care to carefully wrap/insulate a couple of ink cartridges. With winter shipping ink, there's a risk of freezing. Normally, I avoid buying bottled ink in the winter for this reason. But this time, it slipped my mind, as it was cartridges that came included. Without being asked Bachan's Stationery took precautions on their own and I very much appreciate them for doing so. Hope to one day visit this store in person :
I bought a pen on line that my usual shop did not have. I called first and dealt with Inna. She was professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The pen arrived 2 days later. Thanks Inna !
What a fantastic store with the best selection of merchandise. They are always so helpful there as love going there to do my shopping for gifts and things for myself
Yesterday I shopped at Buchan's Kerrisdale Stationery store and couldn't believe the excellent service. The salesperson that helped me was nice to deal with and efficient too. My experience was very pleasant and I left wanting to shop there again.
Great place for unique stationary and a gift. A bit pricey. But that's to be expected
If you have a stationary fetish then this place has some good variety for you.
I love this store. They have tons of cards for everything from birthdays to religious celebrations. They have fancy wrapping paper, beautiful notebooks and pens, a wide variety of napkins, party plates and calendars. There is also a lot of other neat little items that you don't need but end up buying.
