Modern machines are nice, his change machine broke down when I visited, but there is a convenience store next door where you can get change as needed.

The place is clean and the machines are soooo well maintained..love it!! Has great reading magazines too 😀

Dear Kalin Mo, Please note that all washers and dryers on the premises have operating instructions written on them. All washers at Buanderie Moderne are set to cycle through Wash, Rinse and Spin at 23 minutes total. Soap residue may be found in washed clothing after all cycles have completed if too much soap was used; or if the clothing was too tightly packed in the washer. Using Fabric softener will help remove soap residue from the laundry during the final rinse cycle. The recommended minimum dry time is 16 minutes which costs $1.00. However, additional time can be added in increments of $0.25 (one quarter) for 4 minutes, $1 for sixteen minutes or $2.for 32 minutes. Please be sure to set the dryer temperature at the proper level for the fabrics being dried. High heat for most fabrics. Medium heat for polyester fabrics. and Low heat for microfibre mixtures. We were not satisfied with the price or quality of service provided at this place: One regular load (which they called double load) costs $3 and the wash only lasts 20 minutes or so. We had a reasonable amount of clothing loaded but when the clothes were taken out quite an amount of detergent was remaining on them, even after drying. There was no visible instructions there on how to use the machines, especially the dryer, which needs to put in more than a loonie if you wish the drying session to last more than 16 minutes.
