$2.75 Wash and around $2.50 dry. Quarters only. Very clean. Machines are a little on the old/worn side.
Do not come here!!!!! Masks are not enforced and you will have multiple people with no masks hanging around for hours while waiting for their laundry. I had to take my stuff home wet because there were 3 people without masks, walking around, talking loudly and just blatant disregard. With 15k cases of covid plus unreported cases, it's absolutely disgusting that we cannot even go do our laundry with some sort of safety. This place should be shut down. So absolutely disgusted.
I was stuck with a broken washer and needed a local laundry. I was so happy to find Dixie laundry. It’s bare bones, but clean, and people are friendly. The dépanneur a few doors down exchanged $10 cash for a roll of quarters as a service but when I was there, a very tall man arrived just in time to exchange quarters, which was even more convenient. There were enough machines for all 4 loads, so I was done in 26 minutes! The dryer is fed by quarters for a few minutes at a time. I would recommend this coin operated laundry!
Not for travelers. The place is fairly clean. No change machine, you have to go to the convenience store. No soap dispenser, again to the convenience store and they sell singles, only 2 liter. It is close to some of the hotels and there is food next door. Watch out for the dryers, you have to push the buttons repeatedly or it will short your time.
Its great ... Go to dep to get ur quaters and i rement that close the door during summer month alot of flys inside due to light
Clean! Wonderful little neighbourhood to take a walk through while waiting for your laundry to be done. There is no machine to make change, so bring plenty of quarters. However the convenience store in the same plaza can make change for you.
It’s decently clean and in an OK location if you live in the nearby apartments. Sometimes the machine's are full of hair or debris from the last person to use it. $2.50 per wash and 25 cents for 3 minutes in the dryer about $3.75 for 45 minutes. There is no change machine and they only take quarters. There are no amenities inside so bring a book. No AC so it can get pretty hot in the summer.
Extremely overpriced, $0.50 for 6 minutes of drying time is ridiculous, and even with 60 minutes each in 3 dryers, two of them were still extremely damp. All in all had to spend $30 to do a larger load of just drying, when I should have just waited to have my machine fixed, never going to make that mistake again. The place was also pretty messy, which I would attribute to there being no one working at that time, so probably just hadn't been around to clean up people's spills/sweep up stray lint.
First I need to state that I really never use the laundromat at all...always happened to have my own machine, but this time I needed to wash a big item, a queen size bed cover so I looked up the laundromat in my area on Google. Dixie is located in a nice small strip mall in Dorval. You can park in front of the shop. It has many laundry machines and even more driers including an oversized ones. That's what I needed to use for my item. The people who managed the place were very forthcoming and nice. Showed.me how to properly use those machines and even watched them for me. You can obtain your change guarters at the location. The place looks clean and bright. Definitely will be back!
I was very unimpressed with the lack of services at this coin laundry. It gets two stars for it's cleanliness and boring, yet not grungy decor. The machines are very expensive compared to others in Montreal, plus there is no coin machine, so you find yourself running back and forth to the convince store at the other end of the plaza. There are also to detergents or laundry sheet machines to purchase cleaning supplies. I will look elsewhere for a coin laundry.
