The food is just divine. My favorite is their salmon and their smashed cucumbers. So clean and refreshing. Went on a food trip with my family and we absolutely loved everything from the ambiance, the music, their fabulous cocktails/wine, and most especially their food! Can't wait to go back. My family and I are regulars now for sure and I'm excited to try everything on their menu!

Great atmosphere. Great food. It's in a nice location downtown. This location is large & has lots of tables and booths. Love the jerk chicken!! Best part of my meal.

Good place for lunch. Came here with a colleague for lunch on a Wednesday. We sat at the bar - service was friendly and attentive. The food we ordered chicken sandwich and the tageletelle were both nicely presented and tasted really good. The chicken sandwich comes on regular sandwich bread, and has a tomato spread that is amazing. Also a great sized portion. The vibe was slightly strange - they played the entire slim shady, Eminem album while we were there, and loudly. All in all a good experience though and I’d come back for lunch and try it out for happy hour.

Very beautiful restaurant with excellent food options for vegetarians! The food is so fresh and vibrant and packed with flavor. Beautuful presentation on every dish. I really recommend the tomato burrata and smashed cucumbers! This place has a really nice upscale lounge ambiance. The staff are extremely friendly and take very good care of you! Would highly recommend trying the new gem out!

Came for girls night out during happy hour. Food & drinks were delicious. Service was great! Looking forward to coming again.

We went on a weeknight and it was a fantastic experience; reflection of a cohesive kitchen and team. There’s something for everyone in the menu - whether you’re craving for a tasty appetizer or a filling main course. Brix & Barrel is the new gem of Calgary! The dried apricot blew my mind with its acidity that complimented the rich short rib and the mashed potatoes with a kick. The carpaccio is the best I’ve tasted in the city. Those capers were such a fine touch. The tomatoes are juicy and matched the shrimp’s delicate taste. I’ll be back for sure. The cocktail - I tried the Smoke Rose. It was so refreshing! I liked the dramatic ambience and the homage to A. Bourdain and K. Cobain. More power B&B!

I have been here several times now and the food has been excellent every time. Very good selection to suit the needs of all the different people I have brought here. The ambience is really nice with friendly and courteous staff. Very welcoming and friendly. We sat at the bar this time and the bartender Harrison was very friendly and quick to serve us and make sure we had everything we wanted. I highly recommend Brix & Barrell

My husband and I went here for the first time today and we were blown away! Great atmosphere, delicious food, amazing drinks and attentive bartenders that made our visit very enjoyable. Nice ambiance and very clean. I had the Caprese starter and it was the best I’ve ever had! So fresh and the perfect amount of food before our main meals. I tried one of their new menu items which was the Chicken Satay Rice bowl and was not disappointed. So flavourful!! My husband had the burger and said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had. Our bartender Taren was very professional and friendly. He was super knowledgeable and responsive, and took the extra time to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Highly recommend him! We’ll definitely come back for more.

Went for apps and drinks with some friends for ladies night. Our server, Jeanna, was amazing! Always made sure our drinks were full and kept the atmosphere upbeat! Definitely will be coming back!

The food was extremely mediocre. Bun not even toasted on a burger, low on sauce. Cocktails were particularly bad. There is an item on the menu advertised for 4 as a margarita and it was awful. The ice tasted dirty, didn’t taste like a margarita at all. Also for $16 for a cocktail, with no garnishes or special glasses, it’s a bit absurd. This place is very mid
