The staff are nice. My food left a ton to be wanted. I got the pasta and broc with meatballs with a drink 23$ the meatballs not to sure of the meat to filling but it tasted like bread no flavor and cold on the inside they were huge so I was super excited of 3 meatballs I ate 25% of one could not eat more. The pasta left a bad taste tried picking out the broc witch was funny to me because I love veg but they just were not it. In no way I am asking this place to be Italy I have been to the real place and live there. But done give me bread and call it meat. Disappointed.
I get coffee from them often, since it’s on my route when I’m walking my dog. Ordered a catering menu from them for the first time last night- and it was a huge hit! Everyone went in for seconds. Very generous portions, and very well packed. The pasta, the pizza and the pastries were amazing. The staff is also super warm and welcoming. Will definitely be catering from them for our next dinner.
Great food, friendly staff and great service! So happy to have discovered this family owned Italian bakery with their ready to eat sandwiches and meals at the hot food table, and scrumptious pastries! Thoroughly enjoyed the veal on a fresh baked bun and sinfully delicious hot chocolate for lunch, and grabbed some pastries to take home for my family. Everything is well presented, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Will definitely be back for more!
Went in for the first time today and I was honest with the associate and told her that I had never been there before and I wasn’t sure how to order. She was so nice and helpful! She explained everything kindly and was very patient. It was a great first experience and I’ll definitely be back!! Their cannolis and pastries are AMAZING! Thank you so much for the wonderful customer service! An absolute gem of a bakery, truly
A neighborhood gem. There’s not many places you can sit down and enjoy a nice coffee and some pastries in Churchill Meadows for someone like me who dislikes the big corporate chains so Britannia Italian Bakery is something I truly treasure. They have very friendly staff. Only improvement I’d make is having a clearer and more varied coffee menu like offering mochas and maybe improving the indoor and outdoor seating a bit as it is a bit uncomfortable and dated looking. Other than that it’s fantastic!
Decent bakery but prices are way too high. Overall the hot food and deserts are good, but the prices are outrageous 10 dollars for a small serving of pasta, 7.50 for a thin piece of chicken, 4$ per piece of tiny desert etc. You may as well just get takeout from a restaurant for those prices. The only good value is the bread/buns.
Stopped at the Britannia Italian Bakery to pick up a few treats for some friends however I could not resist picking up a few for home. The cannolis are delicious. And the mini cheesecake tarts are decadent. So much choice you might want to buy one or two of everything! They also have fresh gelato for those hot summer days that are coming. Enjoy.
Family owned business. Good hot Italian pasta dishes and sandwiches. Can dine in. Few tables available. Good esspresso served. Nothing fancy but nice little spot .
Was looking for an Italian bakery near me and found this one. Their baked goods are amazing and their hot meals are to tie for. I will definitely go back!
Bread is authentic and freshly baked. Hot table food here is delicious, lasagna is my family favourite. Sicilian gelato is amazingly good, my favourite is the espresso flavour. Cannoli are tasty, crunchy and filling is right. Espresso is perfect. The young ladies there lack a bit of caring service when there is too much people they could be rude. Maybe la nonna should be around to remind them about kind service to customers.
