I grew up just up the road from this library. My favorite day at school was every other Friday, when we jumped on a bus and went the .25 of a mile up the road to pick out books. I stopped in a coupe of days ago, just to see how much has changed I haven't been inside in probably more than 35 years. What a treasure this library continues to be. The woman at the desk was wonderful. Although so much remained the same, there were computers there for people to use. Libraries are vital in our current world. I am so happy to know this library has remained a part of the Bristol Pemaquid community.
A real gem on the peninsula - small but choice both the lending library and their used book store called Book Ends. Definitely add it to your list of things to do and check hours to make sure you don't miss out!
