The service is excellent and the food is to die for! Unique, flavourful dishes beautifully presented. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff! Great for groups and couples.
The highlight of the experience here is definitely the staff. Our waitress was amazing she went above and beyond making recommendations and really discussing the menu with us. She was attentive and kind. The food was really good too. All around great experience and will definitely go back!
Amazing food! The staff is great. Ok to be honest I always get the mussels and fish tacos with the half and half side half fries and half salad and split everything with my friend. It’s excellent. Completely crave it often. The pizza looks great, just haven’t tried it yet.
Disappointing - I have been two times. lunch was good 4 stars and a dinner with out of town friends 2 stars. Both times, food was OK - not stellar. At our dinner, it was mostly full, plenty of servers, but our server was very poor. we requested help several times for normal things like drinks, missing items, the bill but had to ask other servers and the bartender. service was slow and we were very embarrassed to bring out of town guests there. Won't be returning. Too bad. Has a nice decor and great potential.
We came for lunch and although the place was quiet our server made the experience fun and interesting telling us about the history of the building and furniture. Amazing service. The food was also fantastic. Fish tacos and Gusto burger are definitely highlights. Pizza and pasta was great too. Next time in Peterborough this is the only place worth stopping.
Best burger in town! Didn't think it would have but it is definitely such a flavor attack. Would recommend it to anyone. Very filling as well. Salad or fries are a good side choice. Servers are so pleasent and if you can get a seat by the window it makes the experience even better.
Although the stuffed pork chop was delicious the other 3 in my party's meals were mediocre at best. An hour and 15 from the time of order until we received the heat lamp sautéed crusted burger and pasta special. The poorly made meals was only over shadowed by the poor service where we had to hunt down the waitress and beg for another drink, the rest of the staff just stomped around looking lost and ignoring us.
I was really excited to eat here but sadly was disappointed when the food took an hour to get to the table. When it came I had the wrong salad with foods on it that I am allergic to and the sandwich was so small I was so sad! I didn't have time to send it back so I didn't eat the salad and just had the little sandwich. I left hungry. The waiter was very kind and tried his best but he was alone and had no support. The restaurant was very understaffed for a Saturday.
I have eaten here a few times and the food tends to be very good. Recently I was given burnt vegetables. So burnt you couldn't eat them. By the time I had a chance to complain my meal was no longer hot. The server offered new vegetables but we were on our way to the show so we didn't have the time. I was dissatisfied with the servers response to the burnt food. I likely won't return to this restaurant.
They recently announced they are closing, and you can definitely tell. We decided to go for a farewell dinner, a mistake. Only one server working, plus a new server/hostesses who motioned us from the entrance waiting area with her finger. The food seems different, the famous Brio frites have changed for the worse. The pizza came out burnt, we got it replaced meaning we ate 30 minutes apart. The handling of it was contrastingly different from a restaurant that cares about seeing customers come back. Sad way to end the years of business.
