Brewing August

Great Craft Beer! In fact the only place I've been able to find I can say that about in Vancouver. Environment is " "neighborhood" tap room all the way, beer are excellent not over hopped like sooo many others Def same feel/reminiscent of the best Tap Rooms / Craft breweries out there. ... been to dozens all over North America, so have a somewhat qualified take on the matter

What a great little Brewery! Such a needed space in this area. LOVE the children’s play area upstairs. I wish more places did something like this. This sort of thing is so valuable to the community and makes it really easy for my wife and I to come back soon with other friends who also have kids. The beer is also really delicious, very friendly staff unsure what the negative reviewers are taking about when it comes to this, and the food options are top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

So stoked that a new brewery has opened up in Kits. Great place to play games, eat tacos, and drink good beer love the Kolsch. I honestly missed this vibe as so many other breweries are expanding and losing their tasting room vibes. Highly recommend stopping here!

Echoing a review further down, I was really excited about this place as we live in the area and love breweries but I think the opening may have been rushed, decor and ultimately atmosphere was flat and not what you'd expect from a community brewery, was there the day after they opened and again a month or so later to check up and there was little improvement. Little things like the crudely written barely legible crayon menu drawn directly on the wall could look a lot better for not alot of $$. 2 stars as the Golden IPA was tasty though expensive for the size, and for the potential this place has, really hope they make some easy fixes to this place so it can become my local and gladly leave 5*!

Visited when they first opened and chalked it up to them being new, but dropped by again recently and it’s pretty meh. The beer is average and the pricing/sizes are overpriced. The service is a bit odd… awkward interactions. The actual tasting room space has a lot of potential, but the decor is a bit thrown together. It would be nice to see it improve.

Great little local spot with good deals on beers and friendly staff. You can get tacos right to your table from a commissary kitchen nearby. There’s cards and a few other table games for entertainment.

We hosted a large group event at Brewing August and the staff were incredible. Tate was organized and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for group events or otherwise!

Great spot. Great guys. And solid beer with all the good vibes of summer. My favourite is still the Blonde IPA but there are plenty of tasty suds in their fridge.
