Amazing selection of beer, local craft, European craft, American craft too! Lots of small batch and limited releases. Knowledgeable staff. Make sure you put some extra coin in the parking meter because you will be here longer than you think!

One of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood to grab beer on the go. Lovely and helpful staff, and lots of good vibes. Three thumbs up!

Probably the best liquor store in the city. Always has the latest craft beers and enough staff with specialties in various types of alcohol to help you pick anything. Open late. Just stop going to depressing BCLs and give this place your business.

My fiancée (Mexican) and myself (American), both 32 years old, bought a few beers here for the second time two nights ago. The first time, we paid with my credit card after joking about the expensive price of "cheap" beer in Vancouver and went on our merry way. The second time the cashier, who was friendly, asked for IDs. Seeing as it's normal for me to carry my ID in my wallet I provided it, but he refused to sell because she (fiancée) did not have her ID (in most of the world, carrying your passport on the street isn't commonplace or expected, especially somewhere as safe as Canada). She went to the Airbnb and I waited, as really he's just doing his job. I understand. While I waited and she walked back home he did not ask a single other patron for an ID. I get that we are foreign, but that's a bit unfair to request this and then not ask a single person for over 20 minutes for their ID. Anyway, we tipped, we moved on. Today, she went back to get a few more beers before we leave Canada. She brought two or more IDs to avoid the previous problem. When she tried to use my card, he straight up told her it wasn't hers and that he remembered us from Tuesday. He wasn't rude, but he stated it wasn't hers. To his credit, he was right, it's mine...her fiancé who gave his card in order to get a few beers. Regardless, calling people out on this simple thing seems a bit unnecessary for people 13+ years over the drinking age. In the US, I get it. 21+ and so on. But twice in a row on this stuff? It's not good or kind business. If one man can remember every other customer so as to not ID them, why ask a gal to go back home for the second time to fetch her own card? Perhaps it's doing a job diligently. Perhaps it's a person simply being unkind.
