I've been going here for years and it's been a consistently good experience. The front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. My most recent cleaning/exam was with Tara - I really appreciated that she was gentle yet effective, especially in an area I had a gum graft. She took time to let me know how to improve my oral hygiene, how my gums and teeth were looking, and just generally made me feel like a valued patient and that she cared. I highly recommend! Dr. Metcalfe provided much-appreciated advice regarding tooth extraction, filling, and preventative care. I had a gum graft done here 1.5 years ago by Dr. Khanna and had a great experience too. He was very careful and gentle and I didn't feel pain. He also gave helpful after-care instructions. According to my checkups since then, the gum graft has healed and turned out well.
Front staff are nice, and I appreciate them getting me in for an emergency. Even though I wasted my time and money. I came in because my back wisdom tooth is coming in and causing swelling and pain. Which all my others did too. All coming in straight. The only concern about it is it’s making my gums and cheek swollen so everytime I bite down i bite my cheek and it hurts. I can’t eat properly because of it. I came in hoping for a solution until I am able to afford my removal. I didn’t get that. The hygienist rushed me in for X-rays for no reason at all, i had some done at my regular dentist about a year ago. I knew they were coming in normally and I just wanted a quick solution. When we come out she starts taking my blood pressure and pulse to make sure I’m healthy enough to be put under… I didn’t want that. I KNOW my wisdom teeth are coming in and I KNOW they do need to come out at some point. My others caused pain which I never needed a dentist for. I just waited it out and it was fine after a couple weeks. I was just worried is all and wanted a solution to the swelling and pain this particular tooth was causing. When the dentist finally came in, he looked and said what I already knew. I needed them out and my cheek biting caused a sore in my mouth. Started talking to me about how much time I need off from work etc etc. never got a solution to my issue. Just said I needed all 4 out even though just 1 was bothering me. Sorry, I can’t afford thousands of dollars to get all my teeth removed. I wish I could. So, I left with no solution and here I am still in pain and biting my cheek hoping it will solve itself like the others did. Just wanted my money and that’s it. Won’t be coming back for anything else. Wasted money to come out with absolutely nothing.
I visited the Dentist at Brentwood Village today and was nicely greeted by the frontline staff, and then treated ever so kindly by the attending aid that took my x-ray to my blood pressure and explained my 1st procedure. She was professional and also kind and explanatory. Then the Dentist Dr Shamaoun came in and went through my procedure with the same care and kindness. I believe I'll come out of there with a beautiful smile. Thank-you to all at Brentwood Village Dental.
The nicest group of people I have ever met. So kind, professional and compassion. They appreciate their clients and you know it. I cannot say enough about how truly amazing this team is. Highly recommend this clinic. Outstanding services
I've been coming here for over 10 years now. I've since moved farther away but still drive a little extra to continue to see them. They are always very kind and considerate of how you are feeling physically as well as any anxiety you might have around dental work. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and that they are minimizing your discomfort as much as they can. I've never felt blamed, judged or nagged at for the state of my dental health which as someone with terrible teeth, I can't say for pasts dentists! Highly recommend : PS- they are also great with my 3 year old son who loved his first experience at the dentist!
My experience with this office has always been exceptional. Dr. Metcalfe is patient and kind as well as very good at her job. All the support staff are great as well. They take the time to undertsand your needs and work accordingly. I have recommended this office to family and friends and I suggest if you need comfortable, efficient dentistry, this is the place for you.
The one lady at front is fantastic. She was sweet and helpful. However, my other experiences were not good. 1. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was rude. 2. My tooth broke. Upon calling in to find out about appointment times, I made it clear I only had so much coverage and no funds at the moment to cover any additional amount I *may* owe. We discussed the two scenarios - filling, if small enough to warrant a filling, or removal. I already knew I’d not be able to afford a crown or any other option. We discussed price ranges and I asked about any additional portion I may owe from my own pocket and if they would work with me due to timing. “Oh yes, especially at this time of year.” Appt made Dec 7, appt held Dec 10. Upon sitting in the chair, I was informed I’d be billed an exam and X-ray, too not overly surprising and I’d have to pay today. 3. Botox injections for TMJ only offered in tiny little window on Wednesday’s. I will not be returning. Highly unprofessional staff doing the services and lack of consistency in communication.
Raj was my hygienist, couldn't have been more professional and skilled. No pain, worked quickly, minimal discomfort. Easily the best experience I've had with a hygienist.
Dr. Orr is an amazing doctor. He is very professional and takes time to explain everything he does and why it is necessary. The front staff is always friendly and accommodating.
I’ve always had a great experience here. The staff is super friendly, and the dentists, assistants and hygienists have excellent customer service and technical knowledge. I had an appointment with Joanne and had to take my 8-year-old son with me. Joanne welcomed my son and kept him busy by showing him how dentists work, and allowed him to be her helper. My son loved the experience.
