I came here for lunch with my brother. The menu is larger than when you search online. We ordered several small plates and shared. The meat, pulled pork and smothered chicken, was very flavorful and juicy. We tried cheesy grits, which my brother loved but I thought could use some flavor, plantains with a cilantro sauce, yum. Rice and black beans were rice and black beans. The atmosphere was quiet and a nice place to have a visit. Their Butterscotch pudding was out of this world delicious.
Been a long time since I’ve been back and it was a good as I remembered before except the chicken was a bit on the drier side. I would suggest the family feast with the roast pork instead of the whole chicken. If you have room you should do the fried plantains, half order has 10 pieces. They have a very small parking lot and doesn’t accept reservations so make sure you go before the rush! They’re also a no tipping policy.
Good food, but I would not recommend the “family feast” supposed to feed four. I’m not sure how they’re defining how it’ll feed four, but it’s sure a stretch of the imagination. Shown are pictures of the 2/3 full at best container of chicken, and the “for four” salad after being put in a bowl. There’s enough chicken for two, MAYBE three light eaters. There’s enough salad for one.
Delightful first visit to Brasa Premium Rotisserie with my daughter's move to St. Paul. Loved to chicken bowl options and atmosphere both inside and out. Thank you. Until next time!
Oh my goodness this food was delicious. Oh how it reminded me of Dominican and Puerto Rican food that I have missed so much. Saint Paul you have added some Creole and Afro-Latin food to your city and it's a hit. Go get the Pernil roasted Pork and a Malbec wine and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
1st time here for a team dinner. I had the Smothered Rotisserie Chicken in cream gravy. We had the fried yucca and fried plantains to share with the table. Excellent service, super quick and friendly!
Food was really tasty! We got the Chicken Family Feast. The chicken, the beans, the rice, the salsas, the salad were all pretty good! The only bummer with the food were the chips as most of them were mostly crushed than not. Tortillas would be a better choice but I didn't bother to ask if they had them available. Our waitress was very attentive! I'd go back again and again to try out their pork and fish! P.S. as you'd expect, only a few parking spaces are available. Also, you may want to call them to find out what their wait time is. We were there last Saturday evening and had to wait one hour for a table! It was totally worth it though.
There was a whole Bee in my pulled chicken.. ordered this maybe a dozen times in the last year and this is the third time it’s been a terrible food dish the other time was a long hair in my chicken, can’t remember the other issue. I won’t be using the $10 gift card I was issued from them :
Absolutely love Brasa. Love, love, love. Such a great menu of casual southern inspired dishes, food quality is consistently high, service generally very good, atmosphere is casual and friendly. Other than some forgotten tortilla chips I’ve never had an issue with takeout orders either. My personal favorite is their chicken sandwich, but it’s hard to go wrong with this menu. Strongly recommend getting a pint of the green salsa and taking home for all your dipping needs. Oh — if you are used to the Northeast Brasa, they sometimes have some menu differences at this one — like a slightly different selection of side dishes.
How about Guacamole, flavorful rotisserie chicken, yellow rice and beans, sides with creamy spinach and collard greens? Order on your phone QR code and food brought to your table. We finished with an amazing butter scotch pudding. $50 and filled up two adults to the brim.
