Terrible customer service. Had a $6 solar light that I purchased a week ago that was defective. Just wanted to exchange it as I have 3 others that work fine, but this one sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, but since I didn't have my receipt they wouldn't help. Ridiculous !! Not like I wanted my money back. Should have purchased another one and brought the defective one back with the receipt but not worth my time. I'm a senior and have purchased thousands of dollars of product from Home Hardware from this store and the one in Hanover, but I'm done now. If they can be petty so can I.
My elderly parent purchased a power washer here, it was defective and when she took it in the staff refused to replace it and starting laughing at her. Terrible awful staff, abusive of elderly women, you must feel so proud and tough laughing in the face of an older woman. Disgusting behavior
It is so nice to have a Home Hardware Store in our neighbourhood. The staff are friendly and helpful like you'd find in a small town, even when it's busy. Hours of operation are typical you can easily check store hours on line if you are not sure, eh? Pretty sure the staff all shop there too - whether it's paint, nails, plumbing or extension cords, they take the guesswork out of it.
Condescending and mocking customer service. I purchased a power sprayer and ball bearing from one of the 2 sprayer head fell apart with the usual push forward and turn to disengage as per USUAL bother filling out a warranty. Store clerk thought it was quite amusing and insisted that I mishandled broke ? This sales person continued to smirk. Maybe because I’m old and have an accent he thought he could pull this disrespectful behaviour and poor customer service I do not recommend this store do not buy here. A combination of racism and ageism.nIn retrospect when I bought it and they insisted that I fill out a warranty and submit a warranty that any issue would be trouble. My son was in a hurry and I really did not want to purchase there and would a Preferred to go to Canadian Tire
Sold a faulty power washer to us and refused to return it, beware of this company, they dont stand by their products. Told us we misused the powerwasher. They are simple pieces of equipment, plug it in turn it on, this company is a scam and will steal your money, do yourself a favor and go to Canadaian tire where they stand by their products.
