Story

Located in a restored 1875 carriage barn on the picturesque 5th generation Boyden farm, Boyden Valley Winery & Spirits is steeped in the culture and agricultural heritage of Vermont’s Green Mountains. We craft a variety of award-winning wines, artisan ciders, and spirits that support sustainable agriculture and local Vermont farms.

Visit us in Cambridge, Vermont to enjoy a tasting and take a tour of our wine making facility year round or stay and savor a gourmet cheese plate on our patio May - September. Visit our website for tour times.

Can't make it to our winery in Cambridge? Stop by our Tasting Room Annex at Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury for a tasting and take home bottles of your favorites! My wife and I took a trip to Boyden while we were on vacation. The staff was so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We tried 7 or so different wines and then split a cheese plate on the patio outback (which has a beautiful view!). We loved this place!

Absolutely love the wine and even more so the staff at the winery. If you're a wine fan I highly recommend making it a point to stop in for a tasting and heading home with a bottle or two.

We stopped by Boyden Valley Winery today HOPING to do some wine tasting. However, when we entered the tasting area we were IGNORED till we left after about 10-15 minutes. the ladies attending the bar were making themselves busy with other customers including those who came after us. They did not even acknowledge our presence even after crossing us 5 to 6 times. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE JUDGED!!! ESPECIALLY BASED ON HOW YOU LOOK!!!!

WHAT A RIP OFF AT YOUR OPEN HOUSE!!! I MEAN REALLY!!! I AM SOOO INSULTED TO THING I SPENT THE TIME TO GO THERE. a LITTLE SUGAR ON SNOW AT THE END OF A FORK, A TINY BIT OF SYRUP JUST TO COVER THE BOTTOM OF A LITTLE PLASTIC CUP. DO YOU THINK YOU WILL GO BROKE??? SO MANY KIDS DISAPPOINTED. NO SHOWING OF HOW MAPLE SYRUP IS MADE, A BIG!!! WASTE OF TIME. THEN WE BOUGHT A PULLED PORK SANDWICH BECAUSE MY HUSBAND THOUGHT IT MUST BE GOOD, FOR $10 A PIECE. OH MY GOSH!! DRY ,COLD NO PLACE TO EAT IT, IT JUST WASN'T GOOD. i CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD BOTHER TO GO THERE ESPECIALLY IF THEY WERE THERE LAST YEAR. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE . i CAN'T BELIEVE THAT BAR_B_CUE WILL STAY IN BUSINESS. AWFUL!!AWFUL!!

We visited Boyden in July 2016. A very friendly staff helped us taste their wines, ciders, etc. There was a wide variety and we had a great time. We chose our favorites & they delivered to us in Texas a couple of weeks later. For us the 2 standout products are : Vermont Ice Hard Cider (every bit as good as the best Normandy cider) and Vermont Ice Red (I never tasted anything quite like this). An all round excellent place - we'll be sure to drop in again next time we are in the area.
