Boxer Kitchen & Bar

It is a great bar. Nice cocktails, great scenery. The appetizers are good but if you’re hungry go somewhere else. Burgers were okay but I was really disappointed by their pasta. Small portion, tastes kinda blend… for $25 I feel like could’ve got something bit better.

Boxer is a hidden gem here in Edmonton! I only wish that I had known of it sooner… The food was out of this world and the presentation was perfect. Their drink menu has something for everyone and was equally as great as the food. What boxer has done with the space is beautiful to say the least. We were with a decent size party and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

What a hidden gem! Oh my gosh, the atmosphere is so welcoming and interesting and eclectic. The cocktail menu is so good. I asked the bartender to mix up a drink of his choosing not on the menu, and it was DIVINE. Our server was lovely, and recommended we try the panna cotta, which was excellent. I'll definitely be back!!

Entrance is off the "alley", this is a hidden gem. Welcoming interior and friendly staff. But eating here is where it's at. The attention to the plating and flatware follows through into the food. The duck was fantastic, the potato pave was expertly done. As for the dessert, nothing to fault.

Boxer offers an extensive menu. The menu was very different than what their contemporaries have to offer. A quiet, vibrant, cozy and yet relaxed setting of the place adds to the great experience we had at our dinner. Highly recommend!

Date night at Boxer off Whyte Ave. Great room, love the interior. The menu was decent but needs to be updated as two of the options I chose were no longer available. I must say their Brussels Sprouts were to die for..best we've ever had! The Chocolate Mousse was great at well.

Boxer is such a wonderful addition to the restaurant scene in Edmonton. Amazing cocktails, incredible service and a super vibe. The place was packed late on a Saturday night. What Boxer has done with the space is hands down a major improvement over what used to be Holy Roller. The only slight knock is that though the food presentation and concepts are wonderful, the actual food itself is not quite up to the level of a 5 as with some of Edmonton's other restaurants. The pasta was a bit cool and already hardened and though many find the potato croquettes to be a big hit, they also came out cool and didn't really knock it out of the park. Nevertheless, I love the place and it will be added to our rotation of a nice late night haunt for some food and bevvies.

Love the vibe in this restaurant, lots of plants and an eclectic feel. Bone marrow appetizer was delicious with a rich umami flavour, smaller portion. The star of the show was definitely the Salmon, cooked to perfection, moist and juicy. The truffle risotto was creamy and rich, and the crispy brussels sprouts complimented the meal with its crunchy texture. My sister had the steak frites which she enjoyed as well. Definitely will be back for the salmon!!! 10/10

LOVE the decor and vibe of this restaurant. A hidden gem. The food is amazing. Flavors are spectacular. We legitimately ordered half the menu and everything was fantastic. Steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Cool little place for a date or drink. The food here is awesome and the cocktails are awesome too. Wish they had a few more beers available but otherwise five stars.Food: 5/5
