Story

Few things are more fickle than fashion, but the club scene is one of those things. Even so, the fact that the moody Bovine Sex Club has been "in" since it opened in early '91 isn't too hard to figure. It could be the nifty dada look. The result of local artist collaborations, or it could be the music, a mix of cutting edge rock, retro 80's, punk, glam, metal, 70's funk, and British pop. Located on Queen Street West in the megacity, Toronto, and open 7 days a week for your drinking pleasure.

Love the ambiance here! The interior is superbly creepy yet cool! Reminded me of the ruins bars in Budapest. Pretty chill and the staff are really nice as well.

Best of the best in alternative, punk and live rock'n'roll - one of the originals and a veritable Toronto institution. I just rang in 2020 at the Bovine and I'll remember it and The Mahones forever.
Nice atmosphere, but weird system with splitting bills. My friend and I were unable to pay for our drinks separately.
This place is dope. Roof top bar is seperate from the venue but same front entrance. Uniquely hung Christmas lights and random stuff hanging from the ceiling. There's a pretty cool arcade in the back and the staff is cool too.
Wasn't sure what I was walking into. Looked up metal bars in Toronto and this place came up. Very interesting interior design. Extremely comfortable and great music
