Boutique Adonis

We were walking back to our hôtel late evening and passed by this lovely shop. They were just closing for the night, so I asked if I may take some pictures because the shop is so very beautiful. The young woman said yes, and as I took the pictures, I heard her colleague say something to her I couldn't understand what he said--my French is limited. After I took a few pictures, I told them thank you again so much and wished them a good night. As I turned to walk away, the young woman said "wait, please!" with a bright smile on her face. She went into the back for a moment, then returned with an absolutely gorgeous flower and said "for you!" I was overcome. What a beautiful and kind thing for them to do!!! Just a perfect stranger who happened by, and they showed such kindness and love to me. It will always make me smile when I remember that night. Thank you both for such a wonderful, treasured, and happy memory!!

I was horrified to see LIVE chickens used in a window display and left there overnight with no clean fresh water only muddy, shallow, water filled with straw and soggy crumbs. the chickens were huddled around a tiny spotlight in an attempt to keep warm and were crammed into a tiny space, with nowhere to run around. Absolutely deplorable, and so unnecessary.

The girl who just helped was very helpful. Ah even held the door open for me bicycle and all. If I am in the area again, I will shop there.
