Boston Pizza

Service is always good here and the restaurant is always clean! It’s hard to compare franchise restaurant food to their other locations as far as taste goes, but this location always seems to get it right! Pizza is always great! Great selection on the kids menu! Some items are definitely overpriced but overall bill for a family is industry average.

Best service I have had in a long time. Tried some items we never had before. Food was a good value with the appetizer special on Thursday’s.

I went out for a late dinner with friends — a group of three. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly shown to our table. It didn’t take long for someone to come over to take our order. Alex was our server, and he was polite, cheerful, and attentive throughout our visit. He took our orders efficiently, and the waiting time for our food was just right — very acceptable and timely.When our meals arrived, everything was served hot and freshly cooked/baked. The dishes were delicious and came in generous portions — definitely worthy of a high five!Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and will surely be back next time. Items in the menu are marked with GlutenWise™ which when you look into the fine print will state that there is always the risk of cross contamination. There were a number of items that were safe and some bun substitutions available. Their BBQ sauces all contain gluten. They do not have a dedicated gluten free frier.nnI went on a quiet Sunday evening so that the risk of a busy kitchen would not factor as much into the order.nnI picked the Barbacoa Burrito Bowl, as it naturally should have contained no gluten containing items. I communicated with the server that I had celiac and that it was important that there was no cross-contact/cross-contamination and asked how is that communicated with the kitchen. She ensured that it would be marked as such but seemed annoyed by my request.nnI felt a little uneasy after my server's response but I went ahead and ate anyway and the food was tasty.nnSymptoms began a couple hours later with various tell-tale gluten exposure symptoms. I suspect that the handling of the items were regularly touching gluten containing items, ie. cheese handled at the same time as a pasta bake, or gluten pizza.nnNormally I would not have gone out to such a place but it was spur of the moment and nothing dedicated GF was open.nnI suspect those with less severe celiac responses could find enjoyable items from them, but those very sensitive I would say it is not a safe place to eat and I personally will not be visiting them or any other Boston Pizza location in the future.

I recently came here for dinner with my friends, and we had the lovely Tinsaye as our server. She was so attentive and made sure everything was perfect. When she told us that she had just started working there, we were shocked — it felt like she’d been doing this for years! She’s so sweet, professional, and does her job extremely well. Amazing experience overall!
