So my aunt picked me up to help her get a riding mower and said ," let's eat at BP". Hey it's a free meal so I says "ok". She ordered cactus fries for the both of us and it's one of those spicy food that creeps up on you and you go "Whoa". As soon as you swallow this thin potatoe your throat feels the spicy heat. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and my aunt orders the steak sandwich. Our meals where delicious...
I always loved going to BPs while living in P.A. and was happy to find the quality is still there. I had the Hungry Carnivor pasta, and it was amazing. The portion size is wild and was definitely enough to share with my toddler, with leftovers. I also ordered us a Unicorn lemonade to share, and it was not only aesthetically pleasing but also super tasty. My family members also ordered some pretty amazing looking dishes and nobody had any complaints. They do have highchairs and booster seats for babies/toddlers. Definitely recommend! Kid-friendliness: Love the options for a highchair and booster seat. They also offer some coloring pages and crayons. Parking: A LOT of parking available, and can always find a spot even if it's busy.
Great experience with the outstanding staff and management. Came here with my family. We got set up in a booth where someone just finished stringing up little plastic ornaments. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and a plate of nachos. Food was great. During the meal, one of the small plastic ornaments falls on our table. No damage and nothing went wrong. We had 2 servers and a manager apologizes to us. They then offer us each a free dessert. Overall a great meal.
Was overcharged for a Mojito that was never asked for. Waitress took the drink away but we were still charged 7.99 for it. I could understand if she left it and we were charged, then fine. Sides were cool temp. but main food like French dip and burger were hot temp. Brought starter at the same time as the meal....not the best time there but could have been worse Kid-friendliness: Not any fault of the restaurant or service but screaming children made the conversation we were trying to have very difficult.
Pretty lame employees rather talk about work with eachother than interact with customers . Not coming here anymore. Probably good if your just coming to eat maybe. But nothing special. Food is mediocre at best and over priced.
I'd give this place 5 stars because they had amazing service and incredible food and drinks. The outdoor patio is perfect on a sunny day. If you want something quiet, try the main restaurant. The bar is good for sport occasions or just to enjoy a different atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
No longer the best place for pizza and all-you-can-eat pasta do they even have it anymore?, but a great place for good food at a decent value. I had the 10oz strip loin steak. Now, these are thin steaks, so I know from experience to order a level up in your desired doneness. I ordered rare, and it came out cooked to a perfect medium rare. My meal included a VERY generous serving of broccoli which I'm guessing they did to make up for no garlic bread like, an entire cup full! and a garden salad, which was probably the least impressive thing on my plate. But it's kinda tough to be impressive when you're just a garden salad. Our server Brianne was absolutely wonderful! She was very pleasant, and made sure we had everything we needed before attending her other tables. My only reason for not giving more stars had nothing to do with the food or service, but rather the atmosphere... which was noisy and uncomfortable. We were sat an aisle away from the kitchen, in the midst of all this noise. I don't know why so many restaurants are now designing their dining areas so that there are hard surfaces everywhere with high unfinished ceilings, because that makes it really freaking noisy. The restaurant was quite busy when we came in, but by the time we were done it was only about 1/4 full, yet sounded as loud as when it was completely full. There was one baby in the whole place, but it felt like there were three or more whenever it cried. There used to be dividers of sorts between aisles that blocked sound but those were apparently all removed during their covid reno...and lots of noise-dampening wood was replaced by echoey metal. To top things off, there was only one working faucet in the bathroom with ice cold water which I think was supposed to turn off by itself but didn't and a literal mountain of dirty paper towels flowing out of the garbage can and onto the floor. So, good value, great food and service. But boy I wish we could go back to the days when restaurants cared about having a nice, quiet environment for their patrons rather than trying to make the place sound as loud and busy as possible at all times.
The food is always good here and the servers are exceptional. Whether we come for a quick lunch, or supper, we are always happy with our choice. Keep up the great work!Recommended dishesSteak Sandwich with Salad
So you've probably been to good ol' BP's before and you know what's the deal with food. So the real question is: is it worth bringing your squad/team/gang/broskis/buds/idek here? Well, stuff here is extra nice and fun, we had a legit party out there and waitresses were partying with us, we were joking, chatting it up with them, asking questions and taking forever to order, but they were nice and patient with us, I just assume they didn't do anything to our food : check the pics below and tell me if something is off ahah. The jerseys and pictures they have up framed on the wall are friggin LEGENDARY Cosby, T. Woods, we talked about those for a while. However, as cool as it was, a few things could've been better: I wish they had music louder or played music in the first place; the screens they play sports on should be bigger and better placed BP's has a long way to go to catch up with Canadian Brewhouse. Overall, a solid 8.5/10, just a few things are not great, other than that: totally worth bringing the brotherins here.
