Ordered over the phone and went to pick up our food, only to find that an item was missing. We let the hostess know what we ordered, where she proceeded to say “mm, no you didn’t” with attitude, as she was the one who took our order over the phone. We asked if they could make it for us as we needed it, and she proceeded to go back into the kitchen where we could still see and hear her and told the cooks “this guy thinks he ordered a pizza over the phone but he didn’t. Now he’s asking if he can add it to his order”, and continued to give us dirty looks while we waited. We have never had such poor customer service at this restaurant. Hopefully they give better training to future employees on customer service.
Went last night first time in awhile took my kids out and now I know why . Definitely not like when it first opened. Food was terrible wasn't even what menu said ordered a thai wrap which came with half strip per wrap missing ingredients. Can't believe I paid 70 bucks for the meal we got terrible. The waitress was nice .
Haven't been to Boston Pizza in years. My family and I decided to swing by after a day trip at Elora Gorge. The staff are incredibly friendly and personable. They checked up on us very frequently to see if we were okay or needed anything. Food was made quickly, and we were quickly seated when we arrived at the restaurant. Would recommend this location. Great work @BostonPizza, looking forward to my next visit
I have not been to this location in 2 or 3 years as It used to be really bad. I have been to a few other locations in the chain and have always been satisfied with food and atmosphere. This location is a bit different as it was not originally built as a Boston Pizza. My wife and I decided to try it again and to our surprise another not so great experience. The staff were very very good so no complaint there. The food my wife ordered, was a pasta parmesan dish and the spaghetti was bland and tasteless. I ordered a dill chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The sandwich was good but the fries were stone sold and rubbery. The waitress brought another order of fries as soon I got her attention. I just don't understand how there can be so much difference between the Orangeville and the Fergus location in respect to food taste. There is not as much restaurant competition in Fergus as there is in Orangeville so maybe the management doesn't have the same desire to improve.
6 of us showed up at 9:01 on Saturday They wouldn’t sit us at a table or serve us because “they wanted to close early and send staff home” on a early Saturday night when they close at 10pm minimum . I’m sure the owners wouldn’t be happy with the amount of customers they turn down. Sounded like there was a party in the kitchen when we all stood there . Mary browns it was for us
They were out of half the items on the menu, but still charged an upcharge on the substitutes. Server forgot almost everything utensils, water, and one of our main dish orders.Food: 3/5
We just had "dinner" here tonight and it was awful. We have been here before and know the service is slow but the food is usually pretty good. Not tonight! My husband ordered Jambalaya. Server came back after the order to tell him they were out of fettuccine noodles, could he sub for something else. Sure. Then she came back and let him know they were out of shrimp could he sub more chicken and sausage. Sure. Not great but whatever. My daughter order oven roasted salt and pepper chicken wings and she received honey garlic. When we told the server the mistake she actually made it seem like she should eat those instead. When she brought them back out literally less than 3 mins later we could tell that they had be rinsed off, some salt and pepper added and reheated. You could still taste the honey garlic. Daughter ate 1 and my husband ate 1. Gross. I had the tropical chicken pizza and it was overloaded with Alfredo sauce you can see a big goop in the pic it also has buffalo hot sauce on it, which it's not supposed to which you can also see in the pic. We had already has the issue with my daughters wings so I didn't want to complain and have them scrap of my pizza and re-top it. I tried to eat it but it was pretty disgusting. Overall a total waste of $100. Half of a pasta meal, 2 chicken wings and 3 little slices of pizza as it was an individual. Hey at least they didn't screw up the drinks...oh wait, they did! We will not ever be back! Ps, please don't post that canned response, it makes you look even worse.
Slow service, vegetables were not fresh, garlic bread was dry, it just was an underwhelming meal. Update: June 26 2019 - I think this it's the last time we come here. We came for our 5 year old birthday Family of 5, and meals sat at the serving bar for more than 10 minutes after been ready to serve was able to see them from my table, my daughter was very excited for the birthday song, we ask if they can sing and we got a, we are low in staff we won't sing. For Management, keep an eye on your staff, be more attentive, and I hope you don't loose more customers, good luck.
I had originally gave this restaurant a higher rating but I now have changed this rating due to the decline I've seen. The last time I came here I decided not to stay the floors were all sticky the booths were a mess the seats were ripped and very uncomfortable tables were dirty and sticky. This place desperately needs updating. It's just not a welcoming environment.
Ordered take out and had excellent customer service. The manager was so great and the food was amazing.
