Yesterday we had a great moment for our lunch as a group of 15 people there. Our host was Emily, she was sooo nice, friendly, taking care of all orders perfectly. We had all the dishes warm and at the same time. The food quality was amazing. Very fresh and tasty . Would recommend it. Kid-friendliness: We had five kids and one toddler. They were really happy with their foods and also with the desert after that
Went for family dinner the other night. Got the jalepeno popper dip. It was yummy. They had someone there doing magic tricks which was very cool. My 9 year old loved it.Food: 5/5
Elyssa was our server and was FABULOUS!!! Food came out exactly how we ordered it! Quick and fresh! She brought us refills without us asking! Was super friendly and kind. Appreciated a night out at ease.
This was an ok experience. We were in town on the weekend and a few of us went here for dinner. Staff is nice and friendly and the location and washrooms are good. Food took a very long time to come, we waited 30 minutes after ordering, it was so long we started discussing that has we gone home and ate there it may have been more convenient. The food was ok, we had a few different pizzas and I don't think any of them were exceptional. Overall not as good an experience as I would have liked especially in relation to the cost and time spent.
Tonight my sister and I took my niece here , it was busy so we expected a small wait after we were seated being busy with my niece we didn’t realize 30 minutes had gone by before we even had a drink order taken , following that the people that got here long after us that sat behind us were already eating keep in mind we had a 3 year old at the table so packing up and moving her to another restaurant at this point was out of the question ! When we finally had our order taken we were given an order now or never scenario , we also watched another family walk out that looked to have been in the same situation , now I get it was busy and we understand the wait but Definetly not the neglect !
Ordered the Memphis Chicken Sandwich with fries and gravy. No lettuce or tomato, extra ranch. They served me the sandwich as it comes, tomato and lettuce on it, with a half-teaspoon worth of ranch. Wasn't enough to cover the bun and it was off to one side. We had to ask for the gravy about halfway through the meal, not easy when the waitress only comes out of the kitchen once every 20 minutes. Woke up the next morning with a stomach ache - along with the rest of my family who ate there. I wouldn't accept this meal for free, much less at almost $40 a person.
Worst. Service. Ever. Every time. Which is not often. We go out in Keswick all the time and NEVER come to BP except as a last resort when other bars are closed. How do you only hire waitresses that never wait on clients?. I sat at the bar for two hours and the waitress walked by continuously and not once asked me if I needed a drink, manager had to serve me and there were only 6 people at the bar. Ridiculous joke this bar is.
We attended for a friend's bday party Sat Sept 17 2022 at approx 3pm until 7pm. The place was not that busy. Service overall was okay but not without issues. When I arrived I ended up going to the bar to buy a pitcher for the table. I tried to get our waitress but she was not around for like 20 minutes. Drinks didn't get served that were ordered. Plates were served to incorrect people and with incorrectly made orders. One girl was vegan and ordered Spaghetti without meatballs and received the meatballs. The food was pretty good but service took long and a few plates weren't hot. To our surprise when we received our bills the manager Mahi Islam said we were all charged a mandatory %18 gratuity fee. He said that party's over 10 aways get this. When I mentioned that I didn't pay that surcharge for the pitcher of beer I got from the bar he said "you are not allowed to do that. If you grab something from the bar you can't sit with your friends" to which I replied, don't worry I don't plan on coming back and he replied " Good, don't come back" Real friendly manager! Is that what he teaches his employees? The manager proceeded to grab his business card and give it to me saying "here's my card for your complaint". He sealed the deal for me to write this review. He is also the reason for the 1 star rating. Way to go Mahi! I just think that all restaurants should be upfront we any mandatory tips/fees. This was reserved ahead of time and never told about this fee. Is this a Boston pizza rule? Is this even legal? You would think that they would appreciate the business. The place was empty. Now I know why. I won't be a return customer to BP.
Normally I would give a 5 star as we tend to go here a few times a month. We have never had problems up until a few months ago and tonight. Incredibly frustrated with tonights service as we had none. We sat for 20 mins and not a single server came to us to take drink orders or say they would be right with us. We watched our server take 2 tables after us and get their drinks and order and yet we still sat there invisible. When we left and I spoke to the front desk lady all she said was oh sorry. We took our business to Newmarket and probably will not return to our home town location as the last couple months the service has gone wayyyy down. It's unfortunate because we tip very well and spend alot of money monthly here and this location and server lots out on our money until they improve and actually care about serving their customers
Friendly staff clean and good food. Have not had any bad experiences since reopening. Maybe a little slow on service sometimes, but most likely due to short staff which post pandemic is a problem for most businesses. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options but the choice that are available are good. Parking: Lots of parking available usually have no trouble finding a space.
