Service could be better. We had an issue with my 10months old he did a mess with drinks and they had to call the manager to change the table. Two orders were without garlic bread and at the payment they didn't acknowledged it at all. Portions were not as in the past and it is the first time we come home hungry. The manager is very nice and sweet but can't compensate.
We waited 30 minutes to get served, and food arrived a whole hour later. Service was horrible. The steak was only grilled on one side, still cold on the other, and it was incredibly salty that it was almost inedible. The garlic bread was also cold like it was straight out of the freezer. Cherry on top was the manager came to talk to us because apparently we were "rude" when we weren't in high spirits while interacting with the server who also, I might add, was not friendly whatsoever.
Gave 4 stars because of staff, otherwise, would have been 3. Restraunt was clean and modern and service was good. The franchise itself has gotten too expensive. 2 large pizza's and 2 order's of wings and a single coke was $106 dollars including tax! I would not normally eat at BP except on pasta Tuesday, because of the cost. In this case, it was a company expense, so... Furthermore, the pizza was ok, but not what you might think for 40 bucks. I've never been a big fan of BP pizza, but some folks live it, and it tasted like it always does. In my lion though, a forty dollar pizza should be so loaded up with toppings, that it's two inches thick, like Verns pizza used to be. This pizza was no different to me than domino's or pizza hut, etc.. They have a drink special every day, and in this day it was a buck off a schooner, which was cold and tasty. Servers checked with us regularly to ensure everything was ok, and that we had what we needed. I had the sweet chili wings, and they were really good. So good that I just devoured them without taking a picture. My coworker had salt and pepper dry rub wings, which were as boring as they sound, but I didn't expect much from them. I imagine they would be a good choice for a customer who actually doesn't eat things like gluten, when their body can't handle it ;}
Waited an hour and a half for food and when asked they said they were "working on it." 5 other tables that came in after us got their food. Paid for drinks and left, bye FeliciaService: 1/5
Never have I had worse service at a restaurant. HORRIBLE waiters/waitresses just sit around at the tables they should be servicing. We walked out without ordering after waiting at the table for 45 minutes and bugging staff to take our orders. Shoulve taken my friends advice as apparently this is a reoccurring problem.
I was in town for work and this was right next to the hotel so I ordered it even after reading the reviews. Should’ve listened to everyone, my chicken parm was the size of a chicken nugget, burnt on the outside and not even hot, my fries were cold and stale. Chef Mic must’ve made this one
First time back since it reopened . 100% better , glad to see the cranky staff gone . The food was good and the place looks much better and not so run down. Our breads , i.e garlic bread , brioche buns were a little on the burnt side , did not receive our starter , I mentioned it when we got our meals , when I was told it was ready on the counter , I refused it due to not wanting a starter during my main . The waitress made it right by taking it off our bill We had to flag a waitress down for silverware as even the lady who brought out dishes didn't even notice we had none . Other than a big improvement over years past .
Joined at a table and had to flag down another server because no one acknowledged me for 20 minutes. All of our food was literally ice cold and our server was no where to be found.
For shame to charge 34 dollars just for a large pizza. Especially when it isn't even fully cooked. Dry and doughie. Walked past the kitchen to the bathroom and didn't see any pizza oven. Saw them cooking one on the grill. $30 + pizza is in a wood fired oven or at least a clay oven. I'm from Boston too and this does not represent Boston in anyway. For shame... That pizza was worth 14 at most! I've worked in a pizza place for years and this is criminal in the pizza world. Nice waitress though
Sunday at 5:15pm, 45 minute wait to get a seat lots of tables empty, and close to another hour before we got our meal.
