So about a week ago, there were a few items missing from my pasta and the staff was nice enough to offer a credit. Unfortunately, they lost that record and upon explanation, they STILL gave me a credit. Food is always yummy, service is always great and I will surely be a regular now !
Came on a fairly busy Saturday night March 11, 2023. Got seated within minutes, drinks pretty quick, and the kitchen delivered 6 meals in good speed. Pleasant staff, attentive server, and the drinks were refilled all night. No complaints, and I’m happy to share a great experience.
Our sever was nice. We were on the bar side. Not really busy. We orered 2 appetizers and 45 min later they came, after we asked about them, and the tai chicken bites were cold and the Calamari was semi warm. We were going to a hockey game, so we did not have time to say anything. Ate and left.
It was nice food good service but had people looking at us eat like we didn't belong there people don't like natives and they show us thatFood: 3/5

Figured we would give the Wetaskiwin branch a try again. Zoe was our waitress, and she was amazing. She was quick to get our drink order and then our order. She brought our food out the moment it was ready, so it was actually hot when we got it. That is where this BP's fails is in the kitchen. Both of our meals were very dry, not having enough sauce. Zoe did what she could to try and fix it, but sometimes, no matter how good the service is the kitchen can wreck it. I will most likely be going back to the Leduc branch for next few visit until i feel brave enough to try the wetaskiwin branch again. It is a shame because the wetaskiwin branch is a lot closer to my house
A disappointment lasagna with hardly any meat sauce. The wings were burnt & the garlic toast was soggy. The BP Royal pizza was very good!
If I could share less than one star I would. The calamari was swimming in a pool of oil. See attached photos. The first one shows the oil slick on the right with the second with all the food pushed to one side to capture the 2 tablespoons of oil left on the plate. The Shrimp tacos looked appetizing except for the fact that they were so cold it was as though they had been served directly out of a fridge. They ironically were also served with a napkin underneath which would have been more beneficial to the calamari appetizer. There is also a photo showing that the cheese hadn't even melted although there were apparent grill marks on the tortilla shells. A normal favorite of mine at any other location is the cactus cut potatoes. They too were cold, and undercooked. Limp raw slices of potato and not at all appealing to the pallate. My wife's french fries also contained mixed pieces of calamari and deep fried onions, so allergies beware... The only positive I can truthfully give is that the beer was cold and poured correctly, and the service was averagely attentive. However the fact that the food was to the point of inedible I cannot recommend ever eating at this location. I swore 5 years ago I'd never come back to this Boston Pizza for similar reasons but more so to the staff being unnatentive and figured I'd give it another chance since so much time had passed. I can not recommend eating here as you will be disappointed unless your only coming for a cold drink and average service. Negative stars. Exceptionally disappointing. Really an embarrassment for what is normally associated with a quality product. I did pay my bill as tallied as the waitress was only doing her job. However the food for what was expected from a national chain was truthfully inedible.
Had steaks and it tasted fishy. Like a fish or salmon was previously cooked where my steak was. We wanted an extra order togo. And that wasnt made by the waitress. Wasnt listening but listening.Food: 4/5
At first the pizzas looked good I took one bite of the pepperoni and mushroom and gross. They did not put any Tomato’s on it or extra cheese that I had asked for. I’m very disappointed. Been calling sence I took first bite. The phone was busy for an hour. I can not reach them. I will NOT be ordering pizza from Boston Pizza in Wetaskiwin again. I suggest you check ur pizza at the the door when u order. This is BS. ............. UPDATE......... Finally got a hold of Boston Pizza on the phone. They talked to the manger and Boston Pizza sent out a free pizza. The pizza was made ten times better also was loaded with what I wanted. Tasted amazing so thank u for stepping up and fixing my pizza tonight.
