I usually visit Boston pizza for some quality game time with my friends. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their pizza and their customer service. The pizza was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The crust was thin and crunchy, and the sauce was flavorful and just the right amount of spice. I had chocolate cake after my meal last time and it was delicious. The staff at the store were very friendly and accommodating, making sure that my order was taken care of quickly and correctly.
Welcoming from the moment we walked in very sharp clean new look to Boston pizza and the menu was looking great beers were at the top cold temperature as Isiah took care of us and I want to thank you for the excellent service and great experience at this particular location. My Boston Size Burger and Fries were generic. The waitress didn't even offer me ketchup and didn't ask how my meal was. The Perogie Pizza seemed tastier. The experience was average.
This past Wednesday my extended family and I had a lovely dinner with Andres as our server. He was extremely accommodating with allergies. The service was extremely quick despite such a large table and everything was ordered correctly. He’s an amazing part of the team and handled the dining room very well and with a smile despite the many customers.
We didn't have a good experience with this place in the past that we just walked away. As we were again in the area, we thought why not give it another try. This time the service experience was pleasant, from the door to our server who was very upbeat and responsive to our needs. The food was not bad, I'm not sure if it was a miscommunication as I ordered a medium rare steak and was given a well done. My guess is this is one of those frozen steaks, that's its difficult to get right. As a side dish, I ordered Caesar salad which was good and coleslaw which was bad! One taste and I already know eating that further would cause me stomach ache. I did not eat the coleslaw but I ate the steak, it was cooked, not to my liking, but I'm not in a habit of sending food back if I can eat it. Next time if we ever go back I'll just have to make sure they know what medium rare is. We also ordered spaghetti, which was very bland to my taste, the wife and son said its just ok. Atmosphere is what you would expect from a Boston Pizza..... Me personally, I'll only go here if I'm so hungry and I can't wait to go elsewhere. But at least the service was good this time, that we actually sat and ate.
My husband and I came here for a nice dinner and we had Andreas as our server. he was so pleasant. I had a million questions regarding the menu for vegan options and he answered all of them with a smile : : We will for sure be coming back. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available
The meatloaf meals were lukewarm, the Irish coffee was lukewarm, and the cheesecake with berries had no berries - only a drizzle of cherry syrup on it. Disappointing. I don’t think they had enough servers on. The berry issue couldn’t be attributed to that, though. It’s the only dessert on the menu that’s not chocolate or caramel based. Oh, and the server messed up a drink and dessert. She rectified it, though, and was very pleasant. We celebrated a birthday there because the week before friends had been there and said it was fantastic. I put most of it down to too few servers on a very busy night; but it’s definitely inconsistent.
Boston Pizza is becoming a bit of a disappointment. From waiting over 30 minutes to have someone take our drink order/offer water to the portion size. Definitely disappointing. The fries came out in a portion that made them look lonely on the plate. I just don't understand how they justify the costs of their meals. In fairness, the manager did come over to apologize for the wait. But still, it just is not an ideal experience.
My Wife and I love to go to this specific restaurant in Ancaster. The staff and manager Allen Wong especially, always makes sure our visit is the best it can be. The food is always great compared to other locations. Thanks for a great dining experience.
