Always something fun, unique, and of a higher quality than an ordinary store. Love this place.

I'm not entirely sure what the Boston General Store is, but I like it. I actually first heard about this place from Porter Airline's in-flight magazine, which at some point in time featured Boston General Store as a destination business to check out when flying to Boston. It's definitely a cool place to look for a gift for someone if you just want a snoop around and aren't sure of what to get, because it's filled with a surprisingly varied selection of artisanal items for such a small space. The sorts of items they sell include candies, soaps, hats, incense, cocktail crafting kits for airplanes, knives, backpacks, and much more... The person working the front desk was friendly as well.

Wow. Layer upon layer of interesting, useful and cool things. Restoration hardware refreshed for the 21st century.
