Have been going to this pool for many years and it has always been my favourite pool....

Love the revamped look. There is beach space as well as fountains and pools for kids and adults of all ages. Water in the pool was freezing though, wish they would keep it at room temp. Booking can be made in advance but walk ins work as well. Un- sealed liquids are not allowed to be brought in, you can bring in your own food. Also, only mineral based sunscreens are allowed. My family absolutely loved it here, will be back for more.
The concept is wonderful, and I did enjoy the sand for my toddler. HOWEVER, there were only two working showers and they are out on the pool deck available for the entire pool to use. You are expected to shower before and after exiting the pool, which is great, however when I’m trying to wash my hair and scrub my skin because I am leaving, I don’t want a line up of people waiting to rinse off for the pool. I would not have driven the 45 minutes to this pool had I known they did not have private showers. I have a skin condition that requires a thorough shower after swimming and left in pain because I was unable to do so. Also my family of 6- all of our swim gear smelled like urine when it dried and it took two washes to get the smell out. The idea of a natural filter system is great in theory. In practise it leaves you with a slimy, algae filled pool that makes you reek of pee. Staff was nice enough tho no one seems to know all the rules except the life guards.
I think the pool purification concept is great but the algae, slippery pool walls and pool floor is just not for me. I found it a little gross.nAlthough I loved that they have a lot of alert lifeguards around the pool. The lounging area around the pool is great too.nMy favorite part was the beach volleyball court. Nice sand and was a lot of fun
It's... not bad. If you want to feel like Shrek in his swamp, it's a 10/10 experience. Pool is slippery with algae and looks like a bog though I do trust that the water is decently clean, to be fair. The deep end was closed so we weren't allowed to go in, which was disappointing. Facilities were decently clean, it's awesome to have the chairs to lounge in. Water is freezing. I think it should be advertised more as a lake-like experience more than a pool. Overall it was fine, not great, not terrible.
Went to the pool today with my small children. It was a fantastic time! The water is a bit cold, but it’s more or less lake temperature, so easy to get used to. There’s a smaller pool for toddlers and a deeper end for adults who actually want to swim. My kids had fun playing in the sand and seeing the pond that filters the water was neat for them too.
