Bonnie seems to operate on her own version of morals and ethics. We have many friends on Dickey Lake and had heard her reputation of being shady prior to attempting to purchase a cottage that she was selling but what ensued has been appalling enough to incite complaints to her broker as well as RECO. Our first full asking offer was submitted and expired without Bonnie even presenting it to the sellers. We chalked this up to sheer incompetence while she mumbled senseless excuses but then we came to find she in fact had her own buyer lined up for the cottage she was selling. We submitted a second offer far over asking and proceeded to meet every condition her sellers requested over 3h of negotiation only to find out 2h later that she had waived her commission for her sellers if they agreed to send back a request to her buyers to meet all the conditions we had agreed to already. This is wrong on so many different levels. We would have offered much more money for this cottage had that been an option. She crossed moral lines and also did her sellers a disservice by not presenting our first offer at all and by not working to optimize their profit which as the buyer I can confirm would have been higher especially when already in a multiple offer scenario. I would not trust this woman to sell a used car never mind a property.
