We love this park. It will cost you around $30 per night. The park is clean and easy to access. Off the beaten path so not crowded. Park host was pleasant and welcoming. Great access to the beach with a nice walk around Floras Lake. RV spaces have water & Electrical service. The dump station is clean and convenient. Head 12 miles north and visit the Bandon Boardwalk. You can spend a few hours walking around. Next time we are going to go to Bandon Stables and take the horse back ride to the beach. Last I looked it was affordable and looked like a lot of fun.
This is a 5 star campground for anyone who is into kite boarding, windsurfing or foiling. Everything you need is available, warm showers and even a laundry room. Be aware, if the north wind is blowing it will be cold, and the wind is strong and can be a challenge.
Fantastic hike to Floras Waterfall along the beach. Kite surfers were having the best time in the lake there too.
Very nice small park, seems to be a great spot for wind surfing. Tent camping is popular and also 16 RV spaces. Camphost 'Megan' is the best !
We were in Oregon from 7/10/22-7-17-22 and traveled down the coast from Newport to California. Floras Lake was the most beautiful place we stayed and that's saying something! There was 1 site left and when we booked same day. There didn't seem to be a bad site at the park. All of the other campers were quite and respectful. The hosts met us as we pulled in and quickly directed us to our site. After a long, peaceful, and almost completely private walk on the beach. We grilled hotdogs and made smores on the campfire. The ocean sunset view was amazing and visible over the lake, and dunes from the campground! The campground was so quiet and peaceful after sunset that I nearly fell asleep watching the stars. If we're ever in the area again, we will stay here again!
This is a nice trail that takes you past the north side of Floras Lake. You can view kite surfers and paddle boarders on the lake and when you get to the ocean you can see lots of outcroppings to the south but it takes a hike to get there.
Almost made it to the waterfall today but it was hailing and raining off and on but it was hard so... Still beautiful and a good workout for your legs
Wow. Honestly blown away by this campground. Not over priced like many on the Oregon coast. Beautiful area with easy beach access. Everything was clean, well organized and efficient at the campground. Showers, and even Laundry on site. The perfect place for me to stop on my Oregon Coast trail Thru-Hike. Had the pleasure of talking with the one of the camp hosts Megan who was so knowledgeable about the area is sure to help anyone. Very thankful i stopped here and not somewhere else.
We love finding spots in nature that have remained natural. We "camped" in or RV for 4 nights - should have made it a week or two. Gorgeous sand dunes for walking and beautiful beach. We love the set up and found the host of the camp very helpful and open. Restrooms: Immaculately maintained. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash. Picnic area: Plenty picnicking options.
Great campsite!! I'm cycling the coast, and hosts, Meghan and Leslie were more than accommodating. Good shower, laundry on site. Beautiful place, with a great lake, and hike out to the beach. I need to come back and spend some time there one weekend :
