Body Spa

Very friendly and informative staff. I recommend paying the little bit of extra money for the sugar wax, less painful and overall better experience.

This is not to the spa, but to an esthetician working there independently. Her name is Simona. I made an appointment with her for a full bikini and underarm wax. I was repeatedly asking for a specific wax (hard wax) which I had previously used with another esthetician at Body Spa and I was extremely happy with. She continuously told me that she has a new "sugar wax" that is much better, both on the phone and at my appointment. I trusted her because she's an esthetician, not thinking about pricing. When I came to pay it was more than double the price than I usually pay, and I've been to countless spas. My mistake for not asking in the first place but I just assumed from experience that most spas are within the same price range for those services. She kept promoting her "sugar wax" even though I had been requesting the other wax, without even telling me the price or that it was DOUBLE the price of normal wax. I calmly explained how unfair this was and she did not help me what so ever, as in reimburse me or offer me a deal on the following session (which by the way will never happen). I'm still in shock from how expensive that was. It's like ordering a medium poutine thinking you'll be paying between 10 and 20 dollars and getting the bill and it's 55 dollars. Again this is not for Body Spa but unfortunately if you have someone working independently, I have nowhere else to write this review to WARN other people.

Amazing service and skills. I arrived there in a panic because I had an unexpected event coming up in less than an hour and needed my hair to look neat and presentable . Simon took care of me super well regardless of my messy, very long hair and the ''updo'' was so tight and nicely done that it stayed on for a few days, very good technique! Plus, he was able to take me between two clients while he could just have refused me as I didnt reserve beforehand. Thank you for helping me out last minute and making my hair look fabulous and bonus point for being so friendly and client-oriented! Would recommend absolutly.

I came to Body Spa last weekend for a full body massage session and loved it. Front desk clerk was nice to me even though I was a walk in and didn't set up an appointment. They do speak English here, but everything is mostly in French. The rooms, showers and towels were very clean and kept in a very comfortable environment. If I do come back, I would love coming here for the various other services they have!

Among many other places in montreal, I like to come to Body Spa for a manicure and pedicure on Saturday afternoons with my friend. The service is always top notch, facilities and equipment is clean and gives you a very comfortable feeling while staying here. I have not tried cutting my hair yet because they are a hair salon and nail salon combined, but next time I will definitely think about. This is a nice place for girls to visit !
