Man taking our order was rude and unfriendly. Loud burping and coughing being heard from the kitchen. Place was filthy. Staff smoking inside behind a glass door. Food was gross, not a homemade thing to be found, all frozen garbage. Horrible all around
It has been 15 years or more since I have been here. This is my first visit to this location. We both had large fries and gravy. It was very reasonably priced. The fries were a bit soggy but they were good. The gravy is as tasty as I remembered. It was worth the visit and I will go back if I am in the area again.
This little place is amazing. Friendly people. The food you order is more than enough. I ordered 3 chicken dinners for son, hubby and myself, after getting off the ferry in Port aux Basques. There was plenty of food left for later. Tastes amazing, if hubby says it good, it gotta be good. Lol. 6 thumbs up for great service. We'll be stopping by on our way back to Ontario. :
Well I've been going to that place for years as they were in a different spot before and since I came back home this time the food stayed amazing but they now close at 6 and depending on what staff is down there they will be very argumentive and not cook chicken past 5 o'clock or stay they have none well it litterly states in the name chicken coop so they should cook it right till close I understand they are short staffed like everyone else is but no need to loose the good service they have always had the only reason I did not give it 3 stars is cuz it will always have a place in my heart from growing up in PAB
Looks built in the 70's and not a dime spent on it since. Boxes stored next to customers at the cash. Dirty feel. Frozen nuggets reheated are served. I expected their coating on fresh small chicken pieces. As is normal here, the staff were friendly and folksy.
Super cheap food! We went for chicken burgers and poutines. Burgs were yummy - fries were basic guessing not homemade? but lots of gravy and cheese. Really nice people working there and a decent lobby with washroom. I’d hit them up more for chicken burgers if I were local!
Excellent chicken, not greasy and better than The other franchise chicken MB named place here! I'll be buying Bob's over them cuz even the price is WAY BETTER!!!
The food was decent came in a take out box even tho we ate in. Chicken was under fries and the chicken was good tasted excatly like KFC chicken to me. Gravy was amazing very good on there fries. They don't have dressing which I found weird.
If it were possible to give minus stars, i would! First off, when arriving to an unfriendly server, When i asked the man serving usi presume the owner if he had "any suggestions" seeing as it was my first time here, The reply i got was "yeah; go down the street!" AWESOME SUGGESTION And no worries, i will kindly go down the street!! Chicken was very dry and no taste and not to mention over priced, enjoyed my birch beer pop though, thanks and good luck with your business, your going to need it!!
Need to try their fried chicken. Hot, fresh and would make Colonel Sanders blush. Full pieces of chicken and the price is right. Fast and friendly service, thank you.
