Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant

Friendly staff and great service. There’s no better view from the patio bar on the water in Holland. You can dock, eat and drink and boat off into the sunset. Great spot for banquets and wedding receptions as well. As a wedding photographer in the local area, we’ve been at many wedding receptions here and they’ve never had any complaints and the sunsets are stunning!

My husband and I were looking for some place new and he stumbled across Boatwerks. From the moment we walked in and saw the kitchen staff working hard, we had a brilliant experience. The view of the lake was stunning, and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and just the right amount of attentiveness. Literally everything from our appetizer, entrees to the dessert was exactly spot on. Our food cane out HOT, not warm, but HOT. AA.nd stayed warm the whole time we ate. I had the Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with he black rice. Amazing! I had WAY more than I could eat but had to try the Blondie. Perfectly paired flavors that made me eat way too much. I would definitely return and have already recommended it to others and we just left!

I was in Holland on a business trip and we went to Boatwerks for dinner. The view from anywhere in the restaurant was beautiful! I can only imagine what it would be like on a warm springs day, instead of 26° in January. I ordered the Seafood Mixed Grill, which had grilled garlic butter shrimp, a very moist crab cake, and blackened salmon. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

My wife and I got married in October of 2017 and had our reception in the Black River Ballroom of Boatwerks. From initial planning until the night was complete, Jean and the whole crew were such a pleasure to work with. Jean’s help with planning beyond just the day of the event was extremely helpful. The food was fantastic and everyone had a great time!

My mate and myself had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving Day 2017 here. The buffet was was well attended to and kept fresh with many different food items from salads to desserts and most everything in between from fresh oysters and ocean fare along with fresh water fish, to beef, chicken and pork. The dessert tray was outstanding. The views from the inside where breath taking and photo worthy. The wait staff and bartenders where helpful, polite and attentive to the needs of the customers.
