Welcome to the Board & Basket! We have been serving the needs of cooks in the Upper Valley and beyond for over 36 years.

Story

Whether you shop on-line or here at the store in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, our goal is to deliver products of the finest quality with a level of service unmatched in retail. And just as important, our knowledgeable and experienced staff ensures that your shopping experience, whether you buy anything or not, is better than you'd hoped it could be. We stock some 16,000 different items in the store, including cookware, bakeware, barware, tools & gadgets, countertop appliances, glassware, flatware, tableware and woodenware from vendors including All Clad, Cuisinart, Swiss Diamond, Wusthof, Henckels, Portmeirion, Hadley, Breville, KitchenAid, Le Creuset, Staub, Riedel, Viking, OXO, and Chantal. If we don't have it, you probably don't need it, but if you want it, we'll get it for you!

Always a pleasure . Staff are knowledgeable and so nice. Love to support local shops - just a bit of a drive for me, but always worth the journey. Shop is stocked full of just about everything you can imagine and then some. Great for gift shopping!

Board & Basket in West Lebanon, NH is a cook's dream store. It's amazing how many gadgets, cooking tools, pans, dishes, glassware, baking equipment/accessories, cleaning products, linens and other household items are on display. But everything is so well organized, it doesn't feel overwhelming. The employees are all incredibly friendly and helpful - and their knowledge about the products they carry is extensive. We are long-time customers who stop by just to see what's new and to drool over the KitchenAid accessories and knife selection. Speaking of knives, they are the only business we have found that sharpens knives with professional skill. The owner takes them home himself and sharpens them in his garage - for $2! You will never take your knives anywhere else to be sharpened again.

Have been going to them for at least 10 years. Has just about anything you need for cooking to full blown culinary prep. Prices are a tad above average compared to online but much better than Williams -Sonoma and the like. Staff is knowledgable and helpful. If they don't have it, you likely don't need it. Their one Achilles heel is their cutlery selection. They have everything one needs - but if you like high end Japanese cutlery (Kikuichi for example) their choices are limited (but they do have some). Their german steel choices are more than adequate. But this is nitpicking. Pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommend.
