This morning my wife deposited a cheque into my account and was given a far from friendly "lecture" by the teller that she should have a joint account. The unfortunate aspect of this bank is that it appears be a "trainee" bank and from the tellers on up they change frequently and are unaware of how to treat customers with respect. We have witnessed this over our 26 years of banking there as they are the only bank in town.
I needed change for the Laundromat in Westport. BMO is the only bank in Westport and they wouldn't give me Coins for $20 because I am not a customer. I will now never be a customer. So ridiculous for a small town bank, zero customer service.
