I wish I can give negative to the rep Tony. I have 5 star for all others in the branch. Including manager and other representatives. Raffi- he is excellent. Tony doesn’t know a thing, only good for smile exchanges. It always seems a BIG time waste when anything to do with Tony. This review is based on dealing with him at-least 10 times for different transactions. I just wish always whenever I come to this BMO to not to dealt anything with Tony. Train him again please or move him to something he is good at. Thank you.
Unsuccessfully tried to do a bank draft for my house closing costs. The customer representative, Tony, brought in a lady as she needed to sign. Even though she had limit to do so, she refused to sign my bank draft. The money had been sitting in the account for 3 months and I even brought with me the closing papers even though I didn't have to. They treated me like a criminal, as if I was doing something wrong when requesting the bank draft 6 days in advance of my closing date... Very disappointing service. Will likely close my BMO account after this experience.
Very slow service. Took 45 minutes to do a payment transaction because it was the first day on the job of the teller and the other tellers were taking their time to help her. Also staff is a hit or miss, some of them are nice and some have some attitude issues. You cant walk in if you need to just speak with a financial advisor, an appointment is always necessary.

It took 15 mins for the front staff just to print a void cheque for business! The manager Deneen came by to help and asked me why I came to a Grimsby branch?! Made it seem like I wasn’t suppose to be there. I have been to several branches in the GTA and no one ever asked me that! It’s whats convenient for me! Should focus on customer service on small transactions rather than treating them like an outsider. Kudos to Brampton branches for their service!!
Business clients we advised! The small town thinking of this branch will do you no favours. I do over 400k in deposits with BMO a year and this branch has more than once bounced important cheques on me over something like a service charge later in the day. If a concerned employee actually reads this maybe look at who is doing this to clients at days end its not proper and I know the cheque was cleared earlier in the day and reversed later in the day. As well an adjoining cheque 20 percent the size to the same payee at the same time could have been nsf'd if absolutely necessary but no they did the larger one so for $40 dollars over they bounced an excellent customers $1000 cheque with 5 BMO accounts and on another occasion they did it over the 20 dollar service charges. If I wanted my account to be treated like a crackheads Id bank in North End Hamilton. Thanks Grimsby Branch good oversight by management!
The competence level of their staff is alarming. The last 4 visits I've had have been filled with misinformation, mistakes and took forever. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews but something has to be done
Had an issue with an account. Bank manager looked after our problem personally. Staff very friendly. Wouldn't want to bank any where else. Very pleased with the staff at this bank.
