If allowed, I would give this campground a zero rating. Seasonal campers don't know how to talk in a normal voice; they yell to be heard over each other. Seasonal campers children & adults party & are loud, carry on until late into the night. Children are noisy at this park! Zero privacy! Our 1st night, we had a teenage youth in our campsite at 11pm - we heard him standing on our RV entrance steps & try to get into the underbelly of the trailer, & scraped along the back bumper. I turned the outside light on & could see him walk by the kitchen window to the back of the RV. I confronted him. Reddish blond curly hair youth said he was looking for wood! I spoke to the office worker the next morning about the incident & she said she would tell the owner. No feedback from the owner. 2nd night, we had a young child start talking to us through the window of our RV while we were playing cards it was dark. 3rd evening a very young child walked between where we were sitting & our door was by herself. Our last evening, I told the employee there were two more incidents at our campsite involving children. She said, "It's probably Seasonal camper children; they are so used to just doing that". The 24-hour Security they advertise is a key card access gate that gets you in/out. No one is patrolling the campground. Not once did we see an employee patrolling or checking the campground in the five days we were there.
Best RV park around. Full services and super friendly staffs especially the gentleman in front. He even invite us for a traditional Newfoundland Jiggs dinner when he knows we are from BC the west coast. The site also has access to ATV, Seadoo, sweeinming pool, basketball & football and indoor party room etc. I LOVE NEWFOUNDLAND, best trip ever!!
A very nice RV park with a friendly staff. Convenient location only 6 minutes from a Tim Hortons if you're a coffee addict like me...
Great place, kind people, great for kids, theres a store there that kids can go get candy and snacks from and they do stuff for the kids almost every weekend and it's just overall amazing!
Started the camping scene this year. Have been here several times and each time is a good experience. The owners are very down to earth people who welcome you very openly. The park is well maintained at all times. The washrooms, showers and laundry room are kept very clean. The camp grounds are also well maintained. There is a lovely play ground for the children. Along with a paved court for basketball or street hockey. A small homemade ramp is available for children to use there scooters and skateboards. The rec room is used for various things...games for kids, movie night, take out items, cook ups, crafts, adult nights, etc. The open pond is great for sea-doing or other water fun. I would recommend the BlueFin R.V. Trailer Park to anyone who wishes to have an enjoyable camping trip in a peaceful family oriented scene.
If you're a tenter or a tent pop up or even a small camper trailer this place is probably not for you. Typical RV park arrangement with no privacy, no shade and no windbreaks and perhaps 50% seasonal rentals. Lots of gravel and the also sadly the usual poorly graded pot holed roads. Oh yeah, there is a tree here. Charming. The one plus is that there is ample light and mirrors in the rest rooms to actually be able to shave or trim your beards, but unfortunately the Men's room lacks an exhaust fan and the unheated showers require one hand to depress the water valve, making showering cold and somewhat annoying. Wifi is only available in the laundry room, in the office where there's a small cocktail table to sit at under the headmistress' glare, and perhaps the first row of campers closest to the office, so be ready to take a walk to check your emails. Perhaps the biggest and most important annoyance is the incessant wind and fog, which the staff refuse to acknowledge, but if you talk around it appears that everyone else knows this location is famous for. We haven't slept for 2 nights due to incredibly strong buffeting winds shaking our fairly substantial pop up tent trailer. Never again at this site for us. There are many better options for us transients just a short ways north of here.
Clean park, perfect spot to stay parked at for day trips to Brigus and St. Johns. Best campground wifi we've had so far. Friendly staff. Stuff to keep the kids occupied.Service: 5/5
This park is great for kids. Fully service sites, heated swimming pool, basket ball and hockey courts , soccer fields, and play ground. Owner and staff are great.
Very nice spot. Full service, quiet..owners great! Close to Saint John's...close to boat tour. Recommend this RV park
There was a hole on the door and they gave us the wrong wifi coed and then tells us we're doing it wrong also there windows in front of the showers and the restaurant there was 1bathrom that's all so you had to wait you have people right beside you there no room in between you and them they do not give paper stating that you payedat 150a night you a better off staying somewhere else ,they came overa toled us to git paked up becubec they need that spot right now that was not right we payed to stay there not to be told to leave and then give us a hard time we still had 2 hours before cheek out that no office , they take you under someones camper that's not right then you have to pay a 100dallers for a cadle box that did not work
