We stopped here after a long day of hiking in Acadia and the ice cream absolutely hit the spot! They had a wide variety of flavors in both soft and hard serve and we wish we could have tried more of them! I definitely recommend it here!
We ordered medium wild blueberry hard ice cream and a waffle cup. It was enormous in size! I definitely could have gotten by with a small! Taste was great and they were quick to get our order to us. There is a small patio area to sit beside the walk up order window.
A traditional, simple, and good side-of-the-road ice cream stop. They have about 4 soft-serve flavors and about a dozen "hard-scoop" flavors. The waffle cones are fresh and tasty, banana splits, brownie bowls, and shakes if that is your thing. There is a small grassy area if you want to enjoy it there, but seating is limited most likely due to COVID
My family really enjoyed our stop at Blueberry Hill Dairy. The portions were generous and the staff was friendly and efficient. The blueberry crunch was fantastic!
The hubs & I stopped in today. Was kind of disappointed as they didn't have certain cups to make parfaits, no Bananas for splits or brownies for certain brownie dish. No toilet paper in the restroom and the trash can outside Was overflowing while there were 3 young adults inside talking and/or on their cell phones. The prices for items seem to be pretty high compared to nearby ice creams shops. And it's cash only! Not sure if I'll give them another try.
Stopped here while vacationing from NJ. we were looking for authentic Maine blueberry ice cream. They didn't disappoint. The ice cream was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. My wife wishes we found them on our first day of vacation rather than our last. If we visit again it will be a must do again.
Delicious! I ordered a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of wild blueberry. Portion sizes run large, enough to share. Definitely make Blueberry Hill one of your stops while in Ellsworth.
Delicious, sumptuous, simply excellent ice cream mine was the black raspberry chocolate chip and superb customer service. I messed up and grabbed the wrong order, but they just said no problem and gave me the right thing and made another one for the poor customer I ripped off by accident. However, you have to eat the ice cream inside your car or the seating area otherwise you'll be eaten alive by the most vicious mosquitoes on this side of the country the only worse experience was in Alaska in July.
They have amazing ice cream, Amazing customer service, definitely recommend going to blueberry hill and the ice cream stays good for a while if you put it in the freezer
delicious ice cream and huge portions! these are both 'small' soft serves. we also ordered a small hard serve coffee and it had like 2 giant scoops of ice cream. the blueberry soft serve is a MUST! it was so good, i went back twice!
