Their service was terrible. I booked a taxi for pickup for my wife at a set time this past Thurs morning and the driver was 15min late. 15min.... I can understand a couple minutes but not 15min. The excuse I got from the company was that they didn't have enough drivers. How is that my problem? If that's your problem then don't do bookings. If you're going to allow people to book ahead, then be professional and show up on time!!! This all being said, my wife said that the driver, Preet, was super nice and did a great job when he did get there. He was very friendly and was great company for the ride. Next time I need a cab in Hamilton, you know who I won't be using!! Hopefully the company will fix their issues so their drivers can do their jobs.
These drivers aren’t aware of/do not care about updated traffic signs or long-standing laws- very arrogant drivers. Stay away if you want to be safe. Almost had an accident not once, but TWICE due to drivers incorrectly turning when signs forbid it no turning on red, and turning into the wrong lane and almost another car because of it in downtown Hamilton. Drivers flip off the other cars and keep on going like they own the road. Stay away from them.
There are several amazing drivers like Audrey & Dan, but like with all businesses there are those that are rude and inconsiderate. The owner is also hit or miss depending on his mood. ETA: replying to the comment from Blue Line.... I've had MANY conversations with you in regards to several of your drivers, including 2 that made inappropriate comments to minor children, 1 that locked my kids in their vehicle and attempted to drive off and another whom had only been on the job a week and no clue what to do when his engine overheated and started smoking while I had my kids and sister in the vehicle. I won't judge the entire company based off of a few drivers, but I will however judge it based on how it's run. You need to start taking your customers concerns more seriously. Like I said, you have some ABSOLUTELY AMAZING drivers, but you also have quite a few that have zero business being behind the wheel or interacting with the public.
I had to stop using Blueline entirely because their service was so terrible. I would set up rides and more than half the time the driver was late, other times they were far too early. Even installing the app was no help at all and on the final day I tried using their awful service after scheduling a ride the night before I waited 35 minutes past the time before giving up and calling someone else. Also ever driver starts every ride by haggling over the cost of the trip, how much I expect to pay and how much tip they can ask for. Awful awful awful, one of the worst services of any kind I have ever used. Avoid at all costs. I have no interest in cling the owner to work things out, having made other arrangements.. Just want to warn others
Thursday December 23rd at 10am my car ran out of gas. The closet gas station was the Pioneer on John Street. I took a gas can new to to be filled. The station attendant called me a cab from Blueline. I had the can in a tightly wrapped bag. When the cab arrived a got in. The ignorant driver yelled at me to get out. He was the nastest driver, totally on called for. I'll never call them again.
Never had an issue until today. 3 cabs called today and the last 2 calls the automated system repeatedly told me it could not hear me, but the last call was the worst, called for a pickup to a Hospital and again repeatedly said it couldn't hear me, spoke into it again and this time just asked which door for pick up. I chose Main Door option and it was sent to the wrong Hospital. Driver called me, told him where I was, he said he had to call dispatch. I had to call back and dispatch lady just rudely cut me off talking and said I booked for that Hospital when I tried to tell her I did not hear the system say the name of the Hospital only which door for pick up she just cut me off again. Your automated system was horrible today and didn't need a cranky dispatch either. Also what happened to Driver/car tracking/text, I got none today at all.
My mom is a cancer patient that also has COPD. Her taxi fares are covered and have been for over a year and yesterday there was a misunderstanding on her way home from her chemotherapy. The woman on the phone at the taxi company wouldn’t let my mom explain further and hung up on her. The cab driver also went into a rant about how he should not have picked my mom up. The woman that answered claimed she “didn’t have time for this”. Time for her JOB? If no one was home here to pay the fare for the mess up on the companies end, they would have left her on the side of the road. Shameful. So shameful.
Much better option than Hamilton Cab, who picked up another client after we waited 50min and were waiting outside the entire time. Blue Line picked us up within 10min of us booking. Highly recommend this option over Hamilton Cab.
I use blue line every other week for my grocery runs, and often enough to get my dog and woman to the go train. I'm generally a dude that just goes with the flow, not much bothers me. Most drivers are cool, I'll chat with them. Some drivers nod their heads and away they go. But I've driven in car 217 twice, and I dread to see that number come up on my booking. But I like what I like, and what I like is not driving on the highway. When I mention to the driver of 217 that my preferred route is through town, all I get is friggin attitude. He purposefully drives slow to hit red lights, takes wonky, windy routes, and makes what's usually a $22 trip, about $24. Jokes on Saeed though, cuz I always just pay $25 for my ride, happy to be home and usually happy with the pal I made along the way. But I get every penny back from car 217. I switched from 777 to blue line for one of their drivers pulling this kinda garbage on me. I swear, I'm gonna start canceling trips with this dude and wait for another car. All other drivers are great or fine enough. Is it too much to ask that the customer is always right, even if the customer is an idiot? Edit: happy enough to give an even more favourable score. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. Still gotta hold that fifth star hostage though, sour taste and all that. But I feel a whole lot better now, knowing I'm not rolling the dice when I give these guys a ring. Thanks, man!
Today I waited over 45 minutes for a taxi...called back 2x only to receive the rudest dispatcher. She was ignorant. ..zero customer service skills! The driver provided me the owner Anthony's phone number to complain however i did not reach him..This is why people are using lyft and uber nowadays..I will never use BlueLine again!! Thanks to your lack of services I was late for work!!
