Blue Highway Motorcycle Lodge

We stayed here with some friends over the weekend. Everything was fantastic, especially if you ride motorcycles, you can park it under a shelter at your cabin, they have supplies to wipe your machine down. The rooms were immaculate and and they have thought of everything you could need during your stay. The area is great for motorcycling, local shopping, dining and the lodge is a nice resting place after a day of twisting roads. They have a fully rigged pavilion area to gather after the day by a fire or do some burgers on the grill and talk over the days activities. I highly recommend it if you are traveling through the area.

Blue Highway Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The cabins are very modern with a jacuzzi, fully stocked kitchenette so all we needed to bring was some food. There's a gas grill and a fire pit that is stocked with firewood behind the cabin. They also have a large pavilion for groups to enjoy that is also stocked with a large grill, cooking utensils, coolers, and a fire pit with picnic tables and seating. My wife and I rode our motorcycle here to enjoy the driftless region of Wisconsin. We headed a different direction every day. We drove down to Madison, visited The House on the Rock, went through the Cave of the Mounds, drove to Devil's Lake, and enjoyed just driving down all the roads and lanes around the area. Blue Highway Lodge is nestled within the Amish community so it is like a step back in time and gave us a break from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. We had the most relaxing vacation and this will be our new destination for years to come.

Karri and Nate are terrific hosts! Cabins are impressively clean and luxurious. The scenery is secluded and peaceful. Great riding in the area. A weekend is almost not long enough to stay!Rooms: 5/5

We went for a family weekend to get outside and unplugged. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating or welcoming and the accommodations were cozy and clean. Our kids loved visiting the animals who live onsite. We stayed in the guest house. The Hillsboro Brewery was great to take the kids and had lots of games to keep them busy, there are two state parks nearby and the hiking was great. Smore's and bonfires at night, highly recommend for a nice family weekend!

Read about this place in 90s in Rider Magazine. Took this long to finally stop in for an inspection. Owner was more than happy to give a tour to our group of riders even though cabins hadn't been cleaned from the weekend. Amazing location. Will definetly be scheduling a stay.Rooms: 5/5

Great motorcycle riding area. The cabins are well kept up and you have your own private backyard. The community gathering are is great to hang out at. I felt it was worth the price.Rooms: 1/5

We spent a wonderful weekend in the guest house—great for our family with kids and a dog! The house is cozy, the area is quiet and so beautiful, the farm animals are a big draw and quite exciting, and we spent most of our time exploring. So much to experience—Karri and Nate made the weekend memorable. My kids had the most unique and interactive experiences. Great location for a day trip to wildcat mountain state park as well!

This is really cool and fun place to stay. The cabin we stayed in was perfect and everything was set up for motorcycle riders. I had a truck with a car on a trailer and they were super nice and helpful. I will be back next year. And we are planning on riding the motorcycle up for a separate adventure.Rooms: 5/5

We loved our time at Blue Highway Lodge! It was the perfect couples getaway-the cabin was clean and cozy and the backyard was a dream. They had everything you could think of available for use grill, hammocks, fire wood, camp chairs!. The grounds were so beautiful and fun to walk around. October was a great time to come and the leaves were so colorful. The lodge is a gem and we can't wait to come back.
