Stop in for supper just last weekend as my wife loves Butter Chicken and the rice. First time to eat here and well I must say the customer service was very pleasant. The atmosphere was enjoyable with nice background music art to look at. The pricing of the meal was great, and the quality and quantity was also pretty good. I will share some photos of the meal we enjoyed in hopes that you might want to give this restaurant a try. As you might read another review from such person that goes by Milan Thakkar and think oh dear this can't be a good place but some people have nothing better to do than complain about places and with only four reviews I can only imagine that this persons review is 100% FAKE.
We were on a road trip and staying in Medicine Hat for the night. We decided to try Blue Flame because of the positive reviews on here, and they did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Service is excellent and very friendly. I had the mango shake… excellent and paired well with the food. I tried the paneer lababdar. So good! Loved it. We also ordered the bread basket, which includes three types of naan and another kind of bread. Good value! My partner enjoyed their butter chicken. Would definitely stop back if we’re in the area again.
A surprise find and hidden gem restaurant in Medicine Hat of all places. This place would do well in Calgary easily, and the quality was quite good. I would gladly return back to try out the rest.

I had the best mango chicken I have ever had at the establishment. We ordered. The papdi chatt for a starter and it was also delicious. Great service as well from our waitress. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family members.
Food and service was spot on. We ordered dal makhni, methi paneer, madras chicken. Methi paneer was the winner. We enjoyed other dishes too. Loved their garlic naan as well. If you are craving Indian food, you must come here.
My husband and I came here for Christmas Dinner haha. And I can say we couldn't have picked a better place. The 2 gentlemen helping us were incredibly friendly, and the food was better than our regular place in Calgary. We got the vegetable samosas, butter chicken, lamb korma and saffron rice. Thank you again, we'll definitely be back again when we're in town :.
We have ordered dinner from Blue Flame twice now and my experience both times was the same. The flavours are good but there is so little meat in their main dishes that they just aren’t a good value. In my lamb dish there were 4 small pieces of lamb swimming in a ton of sauce. Same for my beef dish where there were 5 pieces of beef about 1” in size each. The pictures shown on their online ordering system show very generous amounts of meat, definitely not a reflection of what you get when you order take away. Needless to say, I expect more when you’re paying about $18 a dish.
The food was fantastic! Try the honey garlic cauliflower! A perfect appetizer. All the other dishes were great too, especially the paneer. Everything was hot and the staff was very polite and friendly. While talking to our waiter after the meal we found out they have Nepalese dishes on the menu as well as all the Indian favourites. Next time we will try some of them. Will go again for sure. Thanks!!
