Blue devil is a decent course. Really wide and very forgiving. If you miss your drive you can play your shot from the other fairway kind of forgiving. Greens tend to be fast and there is very little for cover if it’s windy. Not very challenging in terms of play but a fun course nonetheless. Staff is friendly and gets 5 stars, but the course gets 4.
We had our wedding at Blue Devil in June 2022. Rosemary and Chris were amazing! Very helpful, organized, and knowledgable through the entire process. On the wedding day, there was an issue with our DJ and Rosemary and the other staff worked hard to find a solution, which worked. The food and bar were amazing, and staff very friendly throughout the night! We are very happy we chose them and definitely recommend!
Course was in really great shape for October conditions. End of season sale and polite employees. I really enjoy this course and always happy to return. Try the Reuben from the halfway shack. You will not be disappointed. So good.
The course is fun, challenging yet forgiving. Overpriced though. It’s not Heritage and I can play Kananaskis for the same price…. Need to be more on par with McKenzie price wise. Played today and the greens were trashed.. staff in clubhouse avoided me at the turn even staring at me like they were wondering why I was there so I just filled my water and left without purchasing anything. Then get to the snack corner and she’s gone for the day. Disappointing.
Beautiful course, wide open, but lots of sand traps, very challenging, greens and fairways in great shape already. Nice little driving range, great staff very helpful,
Good open course. The course is in great condition this season but the greens are fast lately. And everyone working at the course is super friendly and kind, something nice to see these days :
This is one of my favorite places to golf. The course is in great condition. The staff there are really nice. The food is great. My only issue is the bunkers. They're crazy deep! Lol. Definitely my problem.
Absolutely loved this course. Facilities are great, very nice driving range and practice green, golf carts were very comfy and includes a gps for the course as well. Staff in the pro shop was lovely, and the course was in great shape especially since it was only May. 10/10 will return next time I’m in Calgary
Twighlight rates are great. Wish they would build another 9 holes or even another 18 other side of the river with a bridge. Vegetation starting to come in and really nice service but a bit pricy for regular price rounds. Easy playing course with not much trees or trouble which makes it fun to play. Given difficulty level and terrain wish it would be priced more like between Heather Glen and Gleneagles. But hey ho... still good!
This course is beautiful and forgiving. Absolutely love the greens here.
