Blua

Blua was not at all what I expected. The Junction has many wood-panelled, dark, rustic pubs... but Blua is nothing like that. It's vibe is very fresh and clean, it was bright, and everywhere you look are plants, candles, macrame and copper accents. There are about three big tables made for sharing, and stools around the bar. There's also a cute little patio out front with bistro tables and a little sofa. We stuck to cocktails, which were very nice. All of the cocktails on the menu are fresh and unique takes on classics. I had the red pepper margarita see photo. I'm not sure if I'll head back to Blua soon, but I'd recommend it to someone looking for something unique in the Junction.

Had such a great time outside on their patios! Great music and great drinks! Amazing owners. Albanian themed tapas with incredible cocktails. Can’t wait to keep coming back.

Went to blua on east side of Keele just north of Dundas and had some very delicious Albanian food: marinated olives, speca cold roasted red peppers with garlic and parsley, pomfrit sweet potato fries with ajvar, green onions, feta cheese, and paprika honey, and qebapa grilled veal kebab with onions and ajvar. Ajvar, for the uninitiated, is a chunky and flavourful red pepper paste. Very friendly service, and highly recommend if you’re in the Junction! This place, we learned, is one of only 2 Albanian restaurants in Toronto. Great patio too!

This place is soo goood! Cocktails and snack. So happy to see them in the neighborhood. It’s definitely a hidden gem.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite bars in the neighbourhood. The cocktails are great, the food is delicious, and the owners are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My friends love coming here and I’d definitely a date. Everything about this establishment is original and has a personal touch from the food/drink menu, to the decor, to the music. I’m definitely coming back again and again, and I hope this business continues to thrive. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Very nice space. Very elaborate cocktails that are garnished very nicely, we tried a few, I feel like they all lacked a little bit of kick, they all seem to taste more like mixed drinks and not cocktails. Decent food menu for snacking and drinking. Would be nice if they have a larger spirits and liquor list from the Balkan region, just cocktails and beer/wine. Super friendly service and staff.

The interior is full of plants, nicely chosen artwork, and has a darkened, romantic bar at the back. The cocktails we had were delicious, unique, and very floral, with edible flowers as garnishes. We also ordered some bread, olives, and pickled red pepper which were a great contrast to the drinks. This bar would be an excellent place to go for drinks with girlfriends or for a date. My one recommendation would be for more vegan drink options, but even as is, vegans can get by easily here.

We had a large going away party to plan and my partner emailed Blua on about a weeks notice. They were more than helpful and did everything they could to accommodate our party. The food and drinks were incredible. The ambience was amazing and the staff treated us as if we were family over for a get together. They gave us such an amazing send off that we will treasure forever. This place is a must visit if you like a soft moody atmosphere, original cocktails, and a laid back Eruropean sensibility all wrapped into a modern rustic aesthetic. Couldn’t say enough great things about this wonderful hidden gem.

Love the vibe. Very bohemian. Looks straight out of Tulum. Drinks and food are amazing too!

Cocktail's are some of my favorite in the neighborhood. Perfect date spot.
