India has absolutely failed by appointing BLS as their third party. No one answers the calls, rude staff, no one to answer the questions. Long line ups and waste of time and energy. This shows you the bureaucratic failure. BLS says they will work on it but again showing false promises. Please INDIA take away BLS and bring back direct human interaction with the embassy downtown Vancouver. BLS is a major FAILURE!!!!!!!!
The BLS surrey is providing mediator job between public and Indian embassy to get an Indian OCI & other services but they are providing very worst service & acting like a embassy officer to public, even though Indian embassy Vancouver people never behave in that worst manner with public. They hold more than 30 days all originals including passport after OCI stamping without dispatch for my friend. He is flying this Friday to India and currently living in Alberta. He sent an email to BLS more than one times but no one respond that email. I went to BLS office with his authorization letter on Nov 21,2022 to collect the package but the security guard acting like a embassy officer and he never allow me to go inside the building to pick the package after 30 days hold passport. He said come in the morning around 8 am and stay in the line for your query or collection or any concern. I told him one of your representative Jothi Ext:1087 spoke to your supervisor and she told us to come for collection. That security guard told me , nobody given your name to me, so I am not allowing you to go inside. I was waiting there in that cold weather for more than 20 minutes but none of them is moved or that big line is not moved. Many people standing outside and few people standing inside back of that security guard. Extend your hours up to 8 p.m or allocate more employees to speed up the process. Also, you guys need to arrange some space for people can stay in the warmest place instead of standing outside in the cold weather. Give respect to people and humanity. Worst service provider. Try to visit VFS Global in Vancouver, how they are treating people.
My experience at the BLS Surrey Center was very good. Kiran, the service person who helped me was very professional and helpful with detailed instructions. She helped me with needed corrections and required documentation. I actually was stressed to see the queue but the service overall was prompt and organized. The centre is clean and sitting area is spacious with enough sitting chairs to accommodate large number of people. I need to go there again tomorrow for my spouse's paperwork and hope that the experience is delightful again.
Sonia helped me with my visa application and passport surrender application. She explained everything very nicely and answered our questions very well. I was really worried about the BLS service that i had heard from my friends and family but now i can say that there are people who actually care about giving good customer service to their clients. Sonia made our Overall experience excellent! Thanks
My application was returned the first time because my previous name did not exactly match my Indian passport. Everything else was checked marked off as correct. So i fixed the error and submit a new application. It was sent back again, this time stating that my place of birth does not match my Indian passport. But this answer was checked with a mark as being correct the first time. Why is it marked wrong now? My place of birth on my Indian passport is wrong and different than on my Canadian passport. So it matched my Canadian passport. I am very upset. I paid $70 twice. This is very unprofessional. All copies of the supporting documents were submitted. So if there is an error, the staff should be able to correct it themselves by checking the documents. This is wasting the customer's time and money. Now I dont know what to do. I am still waiting to book my flight for the second time.
My experience with BLS Surrey was good, wasn't expecting that. Gulshan helped me at reception and Sonia helped me with submitting the application. Both were very patient and nice. I was asked to bring additional documents by Vancouver office, that were not on the checklist, so had to come again. This time I had an appointment, but still had to wait for an hour for my turn, but I don't mind that because all the staff was trying to help as many people as possible as there was a long line up, people waiting since early morning. There was another person who was given the same token number as me, but hey, they are humans, and humans make mistakes. Even the security guy was very patient and nice with people asking so many questions. Overall good experience.
I applied for India Visa and sent my application by mail purolator I took only 20 days . I called BLS for couple of thing before sending application call centre staff was polite and helpful. Online application process update is amazing keep me up to date. Well service BLS . I heard bad review from few people but I am impressed by service and I have doubt other people may didn't send complete application. Keep up the good work team BLS.
Have I had an option of choosing between BLS and another service provider unfortunately, it is not available, I would have selected another service provider for sure. It has been more than a month since I submitted a postal application for my passport renewal—no Application status, no tracking available, and no acknowledgment of postal application. I have yet to receive an acknowledgment from BLS that they have received the documents, but I am still waiting to receive something. Their contact numbers do not work either. I contacted BLS after trying for days and days, but it was no use. I request Indian Embassy to add one more service provider to give us an option, but now BLS is enjoying Monopoly status.
Service was very good. Guard at the front was very humble and helping everybody with questions. Moreover, the attendant Sonia was very nice. She helped me in correcting errors of my application with patience and she gave me second chance to submit the application. Over all, Good service.
I went to BLS surrey office, I had to get something done. Sonia served me at the office. She is experienced and full of knowledge about all the consulate services. She has a very good customer service skills. I highly recommend to people to use BLS surrey services. Sonia has done a great job. Thanks Sonia for your help.
