Blenz Coffee

I just stopped into Blenz Coffee for the first time today. After getting double-tapped with a Covid & flu shot, I felt I needed a treat.  I stopped into the right place.  My latte was perfect.  Also, the friendly barista put the cutest panda bear face on top of the foam!  When I made lattes, all I could master were squiggles   I also had the Lemon Poppyseed muffin, which was also delicious. I just read some reviews saying the decor/music/vibe is lacking, but I disagree. The first thing I noticed is how clean this joint is, and I really like how much space there is.  The music is pleasant, and not meant to be anything more than background.  Some folks were there solo, some in pairs or groups, in quiet enjoyment of the space.  There is a very calm vibe in this cafe.

Definitely my favorite coffee. All the morning I enjoy the Macchiato here and I like the way of service in such a lovely way and polite. One of the girl named Sam is so profesional and serve me with so nice designe on my coffee. Happy that I found you .Food: 5/5

Honestly don't get why this place has such a high rating. The coffee tastes like dish water, or just burnt coffee in general. They have no idea how to do a proper cappuccino, it comes in too big of a size they're supposed to be in smaller cups, because of that it causes the proportions to be off and it isn't a cappuccino anymore at that point, it's just burnt espresso with too much milk . It really isn't that great. It's better to support local coffee shops instead, they're better quality.

Looking for breakfast place on a Sunday morning. It’s kinda interesting ‘coz it’s my first time. I had med Cafe Mocha, I like it! and Ham and Cheese Brioche, it’s ok, simple breakfast but for $7.99 it’s just not worth it. Some good points though… Your staff were friendly. Love the atmosphere of your cafe.

Excellent hot chocolate. Their gluten free brownies are yummy. Wasn't too crowded. Which is amazing to me because their Vancouver locations are usually jam packed. Update: It's getting busier but still great. They are clearly training people but I'm sure they will get more efficient. The acoustics must be bad for the staff behind the counter because they sound so loud. I know the machines make noise but I could hear this one person's entire loud speech about their old job. Parking: Plaza parking lot made visit easy. Also not too far from Corona Station.

As someone who clearly didn't care about how it looks I thought it was nice the barista quickly whipped this up aha, I felt like if she could take the time to do that I could take the time to make a quick review. I think I like this Caramel Macchiatto more than the Star Bucks.Food: 5/5

Helpful, positive, and calm. I can feel community spirit in the space along side the soothing ambiance. A great place to meet a friend or study. And the coffee blew my mind. A foam bear, made out of almond milk, topped off my beverage. The drink had a solid contrast of smooth feel and a deep bold taste. I’ll be back!

I like this place as much as I like iced milk chocolate mocha here. But last time there was Samantha or Samanita, I am not sure. She charged me wrong and made my drink wrong, too. All of my chocolate was stuck to the cup. No matter how hard I tried to stir it, I was able to taste milk only. Have never had this bad experience here before, probably you should train your new staff more. Also, the atmosphere of this place is "stone woods with grey sky" - just nothing that can please your eyes.

Great tasting London Fog and drip coffee. Service was helpful and even gave my friend a free pastry. Especially like the patio off the corner of Jasper Ave Sippin my Java in the sun!Food: 5/5

Blenz isn't bad, but it's not perfect. My interactions with staff have always been lovely. Everyone is pleasant. The coffee itself is okay. It does taste burnt. I've has better coffee but I've also had worse. Keep your expectations reasonable and you'll be fine. It's a good place to work downtown for a few hours, but I always bring headphones. Sometimes religious music is playing, so if that's not your preference, just be warned. On the bright side, there's lots of plug ins and sunlight.
