Opened in 1988, Blastcamp has been a destination Paintball & Airsoft facility for thousands of players over the years. Located on a registered Historic Landmark - our history makes us unique, our service and attention to detail makes us special.

"Chicagoland's longest running and most unique Paintball & Airsoft field. Located on a former Nike Missile Base, we have 10 unique military themed fields. Our games are appropriate for both recreational players and private parties, youth groups and family reunions. We also host monthly airsoft events. Find all your supplies in our pro shop."

I took my son for his birthday and everyone had a blast! It rained that day and my group of 8 enjoyed every  minute. First they played on the turf which wasnt too muddy and then they went out in the field. Every staff member was very kind and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. My group wants to return in December and I can't wait to go back. I'd recommend this place to everyone. Perfect for kids 13+.

Had a quick question about their facility. Called up after hours expecting to get a voice mail or no answer. Virgil was kind enough to walk me through their process and answer all my questions which took about 10 minutes! Can't say how nice it is to find a business out there that cares enough about their customers to provide someone they never met with top notch, above and beyond type service! Thank you Blast Camp for making my first experience with you a fantastic one! See you guys soon and often!!!!

I stopped by today while it was closed. There was a contractor on site doing repairs who introduced me to the owner Virgil. I asked Virgil if myself and a young man I was with could go and look around. Virgil was very nice and let us look around. Both of us greatly appreciate his kindness. Definitely will return when they are open.

Played the big game last weekend had an absolute blast, played open play the weekend before and I can say I’ve had one of the best refs around, he made the game very fun and our entire family loved the atmosphere he put on for us. Definitely will spread this throughout my company and beyond! I cannot remember the refs name his jersey said Epley, if you get him as a ref just know you’ll have a good time! Thanks blastcamp!

They've got Paintball and Airsoft. Great course/field, fair prices, lots of fun. They sometimes have a tech tent  so experts can fix your gear, which is super handy so you can get good and make sure you don't break any of your gear. Great vibes with most of the players too, lots of fun.

First timers beware, if you are new to paintballing, dress appropriately before heading to the battle ground. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in and athletic shoes or boots that keep you light on your toes and you don't mind getting dirty. This sport is not recommended for those concerned about bruising, don't want to get shot with paintballs, can't get dirty, and have difficulties following instructions. Safety is important and the staff do a great job about keeping everyone informed with reminders about keeping goggles on and barrels covered. We enjoyed about 3 hours of open play which is about $50-60 per person, the rate includes goggles, paintballs, and a gun. The next go around I plan on bringing a helmet, gloves, and extra padding whether knee pads or otherwise. I also recommend wearing clothing that is not colorful...you become an easy target.

Great staff, multiple fields and scenario games! The fact that it is a old military base with most of the buildings in great but creepy shape puts you CQB in very close quaters combat!!! Then you have the woods, field and compounds Im mag fed but its a bunch of stuff for speedballers too lol #pewpew CALL SIGN: THIRSTY TEAM: SOLDIERS OF HAVOC

Save yourself the headache at least with airsoft side of things. Only one Ref with a large group of guys for the rec day my group and I attended. Ref gas bagged and did nothing causing long unnecessary intermissions between games. Got shot more off the field in *dead player areas* then I did on the actual field as players were discharging their guns at each other * in areas that were designated as *player hit* areas. Lots of the B.S. could of been dismissed if they're were more refs for the airsoft aspect of it. Not even worth the rec days. Will not be going back with my group.  If paintball is ran the same way you've been warned.

Save yourself the money. Very poor customer experience.. Kids birthday party. Drove 1hr and a half because of all the good reviews. Loved the facilities and environment. Paid $350 to play 18 mins of game time. Most of the 3hrs was spent waiting around and looking for our referee. Save yourself the trouble management does not care and does not make accommodations for their lack of organization and customer service.

Waste of money. Absolutely not worth it paid over $300 after being there for an hour and a half our group had played 4 minutes.
