Blackwater Coffee

Great interior design, also freshly roasted beans from the owner, said the friendly barista. I had a pleasant single espresso that was a bit of a darker roast.

Ordered black Americano and coconut milk mocha latte, both not bad but I prefer the americano more. It was fresh ground coffee, it was bitter and sour, but I like it. The coconut milk mocha latte was a bit sweet. Overall it’s a pretty good place to visit especially when you are commuting from far away.

This little eatery is located at a perfect spot. They serve breakfast, desserts. I had the carrot cake and oh boy, what satisfaction it gave to my tastebuds! I regret walking in just minutes before they could close. Will visit again soon.

Best coffee in Sarnia! I’ve been coming here regularly on weekends for over 2 years and they have never disappointed. A great vibe and very cool atmosphere with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They roast their own beans also which is very cool. Dave, the owner, is very passionate about coffee and it shows through the one-of-a-kind coffee experience Blackwater offers in Sarnia.

I came here every morning for their specialty coffee during my stay in Sarnia. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. I can’t praise them enough for abiding by health and safety measures and making me feel welcomed. The coffee is phenomenal and roasted fresh! Very cool vibe.

Great coffee. Nice decor, ambient. The pastry needs improvement. Not fresh. I would not eat here again but I would come for coffee. Very well made.

The coffee is the real deal! The brioche bun was warmed and delicious! Generous portion to start your day!

I found myself at Blackwater one fine morning...and what do my eyes see as I was making my coffee order? These meatbally looking things in their display case. So I ask the Barista there, "What fine looking balls you have there. What might those be?" He responded back with a bashful look, "Oh these balls are bursting with salty sweet goodness. They are full of peanut butter, sweetened with honey and rolled in coconut or hemp heart". I looked back over at him since I was staring at his balls and said to him,"I'll take two!" And man we're those balls so tasty and filling. I highly recommend ordering two balls for yourself when you pop on by to Blackwater Coffee in Downtown Sarnia. Their coffee is also delicious, so pick up one of those as well while you are at it. Vegetarian options: Those sweet balls I was describing. Parking: No idea, I walk here.
