Who would have thought? We stopped by here for a quick beer and ended up spending hours talking to Wendy and a local fellow. Great artisan food..gr at company...who could ask for more?

The food is okay but not very spectacular. Prices are a bit too high as well. This place promises more than it can deliver. The staff is indifferent and does not seem to care very much about the customers.

Been over a year since I had a chance to get down to Black Rock Bistro and it did not disappoint. Was with a large group and service was very good. Everyone's meal was fantastic. Burger was huge and incredible flavour. Nice appetizers including scallops shared by the table. Creme Brûlée for dessert was awesome! Will be back.

Overpriced for what you get. Not really a family oriented menu. My lobster tail had a weird taste to it, hard to explain. The wild rice was not good, everyone left it on their plates. Felt like we were rushed in and out. We were visiting from out of province and it was the most expensive and worst meal of our whole trip.
