The oldest independent coffee shop in Bellingham, winner of numerous awards including Best Coffee House (2005-2008, 2010-current), Best Barista (3 times), and Best Rainy Day Place. The Black Drop was purchased by the employees in 2009, becoming an Employee-owned co-operative and maintains an excellent relationship with the previous owners at Maniac Roasting, where all The Black Drop's beans are meticulously hand roasted. The Baristas all maintain a competition level of excellence, and uphold this standard in every single drink served.
